SWL Season 14: Premier Game 6

Germany faced up against Premier contenders Da Greenskin Raiders for the first time this week, in what was billed as the battle of the Throwers. After losing the coin toss, the Skaven found themselves kicking off, but the Orcs were immediately in trouble after Morj Trollmoor fell trying to block Eva Braun in the opening seconds to the match. WIlhelm, Porsche and Jung all flooded downfield while Albert Speer laid the boot into Dronx Blackhide, badly hurting him. Mozart was taken down in reply by the Orcs, but its wasnt enough to stop Porsche scoring first for the Vermin. The resulting kickoff saw the rats blitz and streak past the Orcs again, this time scoring through Carl Jung. As the ball was kicked again by Klink, assistant coach Albert Einstein let fly with a rock while the Ref had his back turned, badly hurting Lupo, and leaving the Orcs without a specialist dirty player, their other rogue having been ejected earlier. The Orcs recovered though, surrounding the Badz Teefrippa centerfield. By now, Otto von Bismarck and Alfred Rosenberg had also found their way to the injury box, but a timely fireball from the Vermin blasted a hole in the Orc defence before Porsche scooped up the ball and hurled it to an open Bruce Willis, who streaked away untouched for the third German TD of the half- already more than any other team had scored against the Raiders in their history.
The second period started with a pitch invasion, stunning 3 members of each team, but exposing one of the Orc flanks too much for the Greenskins to recover- another TD to the Last Boy Scout. Even at 4-0, Manfred wasn't satisfied. His Twahnlow awards were at stake, and he urged the team to pay more attention to the Orc thrower, Gurden Crazyeye. Kaiser Wilhelm answered the call, tripping the Orc as he made an attempt for the ball. Crazyeye fell badly, his head hitting the ground hard, and he lay lifeless on the ground. Manfred smiled to himself as Wilheml ran in the 5th German touchdown. "The Golden passing Twahnlows are mine again," he thought. With the game well & trully in the bag, Manfred told the remaining rats to pull back from the Orcs.- 5:0 or 5:1, it made no difference to him. The Orcs scored a consolation try, but not before having had their dreams of Premier glory shattered for Season 14, and leaking what was for them a record socreline.

Twahnlow Votes
3 votes- #5 Badz Teefrippa: The only Orc that was able to get the ball and carry it forward.
2 votes- #3 Cronx Bloodskull: Cronx gets his points for blocking, but he also held the ball at the end to score for the Orcs and relieve a bit of their pain.
1 vote- #6 Brack Gutrot: Tried hard to put a dent in the rats, but got only one casualty, so we only give him one vote.
