Oh dear, someone in the FUMBBL community is swearing at me and/or abusing me... do I have to put up with this?
The short answer is no, you don't. Other coaches are allowed to criticise your playing style - the debates over fouling and "elfbowl" are eternal, and mostly conducted in good nature - but swearing and personal attacks are not permitted, be they in the forums, a match report, Discord channels, private chat or in-game chat.
If you are abused like this, it is important to keep a record of what was said by taking screenshots. (Update: Screenshots are not needed because the administrators have a record of the chat already. So, it's not a bad idea to get screenshots, but they aren't needed for the support ticket.) Please use the website Support ticket system to report these incidents, so that only the Admin team will have access to the details. Click on the None of the above option for submitting a support ticket and explain what happened. Make sure you include the link to the other coach's home page in the URL box.
If the offensive content is in a permanent form like a forum post or match report, the offending coach will be asked to edit the text.
