This is for a long time build , leaving out catchers to prevent them from hogging the spps. Also, Amazons are the only race were all players can have Block & Dodge after (normal) first skill.
That leaves 20 k left , to use either to save or swap a Linewoman for another thrower or a catcher.
You have a lot of RRs to use to get those first skills on Blitzers and Linewomen.
A more "straight off" option.
Amazons do not have an extreme need for a high FF since both the players and the RRs are rather cheap.
You can capitalise on the ultra-cheap RRs: The 20k cash ensures you can either buy an apothecary, extra linewoman, or both for the second match.
Alternatively, use the cash to upgrade the Thrower to a fourth Blitzer and concentrate your tactics on bashing the opponents. With this kind of setup, it is wise to focus on scoring with the Linewomen as much as possible to skill them up.
This is the Set Up I like to use for "ranked "
Usually with this set-up the ball ends up with your blitzers to score in early games, giving them quick access to guard , this suits the running nature of amazons nicely and you can buy your catchers once your blitzers have mainly all gained their First Skill (Guard or Stand Firm ) .Concentrate early on taking your rerolls up to at least 6.
This is a long-term yet highly effective roster for Amazons. The logic behind it is that a high TR amazon teams need 16 players, 8 of them being linewomen, which should be hired and developed from the start. This will result in a very solid supporting cast for your positional players who may get a bigger part of the action at a later stage of team development.
Starting with 12 players and an apothecary greatly reduces your chances of being outnumbered early. Be also warned that your team strength will be ridiculously high once all your linewomen have block.
