Basically, the only advantage this team has against others is its higher total ST (Strength) on the field. Other teams will tend to have more Block and/or Dodge, miles better speed and far better agility and ball handling. Many also have better armour.
Therefore it's crucial you deploy this ST well. Generally, you want your four ST5 players to be evenly spread across the centre lanes and flanks.
This is your main defence against your opponent making a hole in a flank, breaking through, marking-up your un-agile team and cutting your players off from where the ball is.
Be especially wary of opposing players near your flanks who look like they're getting ready to receive a hand-off.
You'll be doing a lot of pushing with good block dice, but probably knocking down players a bit less than meaner bashy teams do. So it's important to push opposing players tactically. Over time you can - anaconda-like - start to squeeze a lot of teams while safely keeping one or two blitzers free to blitz any escapers.
It's useful if your ST5 players mark two or even three opposing players, as that's fewer opponents to mark-up the rest of your team so that you can start moving to where you need to be. But don't throw away your ST5 players to easy group fouls as they are expensive to replace.
As tempting as it is to put Mighty Blow on all your ST5 players first when you level up, the risk is that opposing teams will be levelling-up with Block, Dodge, Guard etc and you'll find your superior ST less and less converting to actual blocking success. You'll find your team morphing into something similar to Chaos Renegades but with far less agility and no mutation tricks.
So, a really important skill is actually Guard for your ST5 players, which allows you to fish even for three-dice blocks and acts a little like a force field protecting your slightly fragile skeletons. It maintains your one big advantage. You want that rigidity to your line of players because, remember, if opponents finally break through your line they can easily mark you up and make it hard for you to take back control.
Leader is an excellent first skill to get on the Thrower as your team generally needs a lot of rerolls (I usually start with three team rerolls then get Leader). Mighty Blow is decent as a first skill for Blitzers. Personally, I roll random general skills on the linemen.
