Back to Secret League Beast of Chaos Teams
Did You Know… Beastmen teams used to eat the coach of the losing team after every match they played. However this quickly lead to shortage of willing Beastmen coaches and a shortage of willing opposition. Now they save this ritual for Chaos Cup matches only where practices like this are not uncommon... Not least in the final where the losing team captain is fed - to the Chaos Cup Trophy.
3 Re-rolls is very useful for a team with no Sure Hands or Block. Starting with 4 Bestigor is a must as they are your best players and you want them to be the focus of your team development long term. 4 Ungor adds speed and Dodge to your team, which can be useful for moving the ball, and Dodge offers them some protection, but they are weak and in the long term you don't really want 4 on the pitch. Be careful with your Bestigor they're only AV9+ and you do not have a Apothecary.
2 Re-rolls is tricky to manage on a team with no core skills, but it is manageable. You start with 1 extra Gor and 1 less Ungor than the previous suggested starting roster. This gives you a higher average strength, and you start with an Apothecary which is useful for keeping your Bestigor a little safer. However it comes at the expense of a Re-roll.
This is a suboptimal roster. Taking a Bullgor is never a particularly good idea, and taking 2 is even less of a good idea, but when it works and they start doing real damage to the opposition then you will have a good time. But it certainly isn't an optimal roster for strategy and winning.
