Famous Teams
The Gnoblar Gnoblars, first mentioned in Spike! Journal #8, 2019

Background
Gnoblars are among the weakest and the most cowardly creatures in The World. They are weaker than Goblins and even less intelligent. The fact they even play Bloodbowl at all is questioned by many, though they don’t actually have a choice in the matter. Each Gnoblar team is controlled by a pair of Maneater Ogres who keep them all in line, on threat of being eaten..

The Gnoblars are dirty cheats, using any trick at their disposal to win a game and avoid being eaten by their Ogre masters. Some are ruthless foulers, some use hidden weapons for tripping opponents up. There are even some known as Piggyback Riders that pair up and sit on each other’s shoulders. They try and hide this fact by dressing in standard Blood Bowl gear and pose as a regular sized player. It is debatable this is of any help at all really, and they are fooling no one. Referees once disallowed this practice but now turn a blind after the famous Tilean Ghoul referee Luigi Killeaner once tried to send a piggyback rider off then was swiftly dismembered by a Maneater and eaten post game.

Rationale
Gnoblars stat line was pretty straight forward; they are basically just Goblins with a lower Av. The Trappers are the same though they have Prehensile Tail representing the traps they use to knock people off balance etc…

The Ogre is just a basic Ogre. The Yhetee is just a Yhetee from the Norse team. In official GW Bloodbowl this is what the Snow Troll is called.

The Gorger is pretty straight forward as well, Wild Animal is the obvious choice as they are frenzied killing machines. They are very tough so Av9 and Thick Skull seemed appropriate.

Season 2 (2020 Edition) Changes
Removed Tackle from Maneaters and gave them Brawler instead. I wanted a skill that represented their superiority over normal Ogres and Brawler is a better fit. Especially as this team plays in the Stunty Cup and had a big advantage over other stunty teams due to starting Tackle.

I changed the Gnoblar name in line with the Gnoblar Army which was used as the basis of this teams design. I changed them to Gnoblar Fighters to distinguish them from the Gnoblars found in the Ogre teams. Implying these Gnoblars are a cut above those one.
