Khorne Starting Roster & Tactics



Starting Rosters

Variation 1

  • 3 Chaos Thugs
  • 4 Khorngors
  • 4 Khorne Warriors
  • 2 Re-rolls
  • Total = 1000k

Starting with all your positionals means you can only afford 2 Re-rolls which is risky, especially as the team lacks Block, and has a lot of Frenzy. But your Khorngors are reliable blitzers and you have a good average Strangth so careful postional play and setting up crowd surfs is the order of the day early on.

 


Variation 2

  • 6 Chaos Thugs
  • 4 Khorngors
  • 2 Khorne Warriors
  • 3 Re-rolls
  • Total = 990k

This roster basically drops 2 Chaos Warriors for Cultists allowing you to take a 3rd RR. While the 3rd RR is very useful for a team that is RR dependant losing 2 St4 players will make pitch control harder, this is probably a roster for a less experienced coach though as it is more forgiving.

 


Variation 3

  • 1 Minotaur
  • 6 Chaos Thugs
  • 2 Khorngors
  • 2 Khorne Warriors
  • 2 Re-rolls
  • Total = 990k

The Minotaur option. This gives you about the same average strength as roster 1. You also have some real punch in he Minotaur who can also acquire Claw fairly quickly. As you will be blitzing with your Big Guy more often than not the 2 RRs isnt such an issue, although it is still going to be a tough juggling act. The main issue with this roster is you only have 2 non frenzy players in your roster which will make Frenzy a little more of a negatrait than it already can be sometimes.
