You are probably going to take a lot of casualties until you build up some basic skills. When linemen die, you get a free lineman, but when catchers die... you get a free lineman. Blitzers are the core of the team and it's nice to skill them up before you have lots of catchers. It's nice to start out with 3 rr's, and that first game apothecary can save an unlucky rip or be used for a bh on one of your blitzers or your catcher.
Pass to the catcher with your other players and spread the spp around. As soon as your blitzers get blodge and a few linemen get wrestle or block, your life will get a lot easier.
2 rerolls will require careful management, but there's enough linemen to take the fall and enough play potential to torment slower opponents. A thrower will be quick access to a leader reroll, 2 catchers offers plenty of pace and on-field passing options. An apothecary is really needed early on due to the cost of the positionals.
