Necrarch Vampires
Background
Necrach are the rarest of all Vampires and the only bloodline of Vampires that have managed to control their blood lust, though this did not come without a price. The lack of blood physically weakened them over the years, though the servants of Nagash remained the most formidable of all Vampires when it came to Necromancy.
Necrach live in the far corners of the The World in great towers built in to the side of Bloodbowl arenas. The Necrach never travel, spending all their time mastering magic in the hope that one day they will be able to turn all that is living to death.
Some believe they only play the sport to increase their ever growing skeletal hordes, the Necrach re-animating the bones of the mortals they kill in their stadia. While others believe they are trying to harness the energy or the crowd and the players in their stadiums in some evil scheme which will let them realise their goal of turning all living things to death.
Nevertheless teams from all over The World travel to their arenas of bone looking to pit their wits against the unique challenge that the Necrachs pose.
Rationale
Necrarch vampires do not have a need for blood, they have managed to control their bloodlust, so removing that nega-trait was an obvious choice. They are the most powerful of vampires in terms of magical abilities so it makes sense to keep their Ag at 4. Their St was reduced as they are more skeletal in form than other vampires and thus more fragile, all their background material also describes them as being weaker than the other bloodlines, though still stronger than your experienced mortal warrior. So despite reducing their St to 3 I kept S access as they are still vamps. Foul appearance was added to represent their ghastly appearance, most vampires are just pale looking humans, but Necrarch are more twisted and sinister looking.
As they are so closely tied with Nagash (more so than any other vampires) it makes sense to give them Skeletons and Wights on their roster as both are closer in image to Nagash than say a zombie. The roster has the option of having up to 2 Wights to make up for the lack of the Necrarch's strength and the fact you can only have up to 4 Necrarch vampires due to their rarity, however I originally envisaged them having 4, but decided on 2 for now, and if the roster is too weak I will increase this to 4, they also add some Av and more Ag to the roster as Skeletons are fairly weak and have low Ag.
Skeletons are the teams Linemen as their is no need for any living creature to feed on and again they are more in line with Nagash troop choices.
Finally I added a Necromancer to the roster so that oppositions killed players would be resurrected as skeletons. The Necrachs are powerful Necromancers and adding this to the roster represents their ability to raise the dead and strengthens the fluff of the team and individuality.
Season 2
310 games played, win percentage 58%. This puts them at high end Tier1. Thought they are obviously a strong team, no one has had any real issues with them dominating in their leagues and they have not been winning tournaments either, so no change required.
Season 3
331 games played 56.95% win percentage. Performing slightly above tier 1. Though I personally do not feel they are a tier zero team. There have been no problems with this race in leagues, and I've had/seen no anecdotal evidence of them dominating either. I was a little concerned by them having no negatrait when creating the roster and still having Hypno gaze but they have had more than enough games played to safely lock this roster down as working fine.
