Squig Herders Strategy

Never field more than max 3-4 ofab players at same time. Remember also that pogo stick is secret weapon and your players WILL get thrown out. Having couple unfielded squigs keeps you in game for second half too.

The real heroes of this team are the Herders. They're strong and armored enough to goe toe-to-toe with most other stunties, faster than most (except skinks), and quite cheap to boot. This allows them to play a stunty equivalent of Elf bowl; do a feigned cage down one wide zone, draw opponents, run back towards the middle for a handoff to a waiting player and off you go down the other wide zone.

Be aware that even moving a Squig isn't a free action, it's a turnover or thrall injury waiting to happen. If you do fail the OFAB roll, assess whether you can spare the Squig for the rest of this drive; letting it run off will cause a turnover (but will also keep the Squig injury free until next drive). If you do need it, try to move it next to a player that's already lying down.
