One game left for either Bogdag or Mina to show their stuff!
Or will some other contender pass the leaders at the post?
(please note: scoreboard at beginning of this thread...) |

Ghouls don't regen...
Therefore Mina's ressurection, whilst as fluff is nice, for awards such as the Twahnlow's is not on... |

The award is fluff guys
its the same "player" as far as the game is concerned.
I don't see why the same player, killed and ressurected 4 or 5 times shouldn't be able to win it! |

lol.
Mina's out of the running. As long as she gets a posthumous honourable mention I'm happy. She was a nice player to have fluff-wise and worked her way into a bunch of my match reports so I'm glad to keep her.
I'd be more worried about Mr. Gray, cata. He's kicking ass and taking names. |

it's not the same thing. The idea with Mina is surely that the broken pieces of ghoul were taken home, dumped on the necro's desk to be re-animated as a zombie. In theory, they would even have been ok as a Flesh Golem, especially if combined with another player.
orcs don't get coached by a necromancer, which is why they can have a team wizard, and an apoth, which is why none of their players have regenerate.
Only necro, undead or Khemri can raise players from the dead and be justified in keeping the name.
In general, calling the imaginary trappings of the game "fluff" is fine, but to use it dismissively is to miss the point. The point is THE GAME IS MORE than competitive dice rolling, and hence Mina the ghoul and Mina the zombie can be treated as the same player, since it was only the trauma of being broken that made her tortured and tired soul forget all the skills previously gained.
That said, anyone who squared off over "bb d6" in the chat room would I'm sure attract a distressing amount of interest and support from passing lamos. Which brings us back to
see you soon,

well, the new mina is a ghoul too so your zombie theory is broken there.
furthermore, since we're debating about fluff, Ghouls are not undead, but rather a hideous sub-breed of human... therefore the argument that it is simply "the same player" is also lost...
fluff wise, Orcs are physically very robust and can be hacked apart and stitched back together with the greatest of ease... have a look at that Mad Doc stuff in the Gorkamorka rules...
furthermore, Covertfun aka Mr forfeit half the season, your flagrant use of emoticons disturbs me to no end |

Phew! The Twahnlows certainly seem to be causing some heated debates. Who would have thought...
You're right, Cat. She's only there for the fun of it. Especially seeing as how she seems to have made a comeback (albeit, a pretty gloriless one...). The all knowing, all seeing Twahnlow Officials are sure to ban her at the last moment, never fear! |

I smell a Sting!
Somethings goin' down at the Twahnlows!
Mina was paying $1.10 and the bookies are in on it!
I smell a conspiracy!
Or does my dog need to go outside...
(and yes, the overuse of emoticons is disturbing... it's all too emotional!) |

Rannos Vizgyre moves to the top of the Twahnlows!!
A more worthy player I cannot think of for this prestigious award.
I remember my game against the mighty Vizgyre...
It ain't as easy as it looks sometimes to pick up that ball, even after multiple tries, but, though this task did indeed prove too great a one for Rannos in our game, he nonetheless seems a very fearsome and capable player A real Blitzer's Blitzer!
There's still one game to go before the season's ended though... will he hold on to the trophy? |
