The LRB 5 division is now open for public testing.

Yes, we are using the same old client as for LRB4. What this means is:

* None of the new skills will function in the client
* Skills will work as per LRB4.
* Fouling and the eye works as per LRB4.

What is new here is:

* New team rosters
* New skill tables
* Winnings, fanfactor and spiralling expenses
(Note, this means that the winnings and fanfactor rolls the client make are not used by the site, but are made when the match is reported)
* No ageing.
* Team Value rather than Team Rating. Note that this will be reported as Team Rating on the teams.

When you play around with LRB5 teams, be aware that there are bugs. Don't take things too seriously. And if you find problems, please report them in this forum. I will do what I can to fix problems and add as much support as I can from the site's perspective.

Fantastic!

I cannot begin to express my joy at this. Having played LRB 5.0 with my BB friends since it came, it was quite an ordeal going back to LRB 4.0. It's a pity the inducement system isn't implemented yet, but at least the stupid fan factor and ageing rolls are gone. Best news I've had all week.

I will be sure to create a team and get right down to testing the client.
