CLAWPOMB discussion and Complaints Thread
This place here and now is forever on to be our fancy thread to "Discuss" The horrors, unfairness and fairness of the skills claw, piling on, mighty blow and any of it's combinations or offshoots. Though I guess it still applies to BB2 and some leagues.
Creating a new thread pertaining to this topic will get it locked down. Multiple lockings down for the same coach will get them in trouble with a possible forum ban.

For now this thread will be kept in General chat until we figure out the best place for it.
So that all of FUMBBL knows whats going on I will keep tabs on this topic and add any permanent pertinent graphs and information to it here.

Oh right, and pointless trolling or being rude gets the post deleted and the coach in trouble! Trouble being defined as whatever the heck an Admin defines it as!

Long story short, it's probably unbalanced but there's nothing we can do about it since Fumbbl won't do house rules for the R and B divisions. |

Best Idea I heard (imo), cant remmeber who said it but it was..
Claw Reduces AV by -1 (excempt no lower than 7)
^ In this way ^ AV10 becomes AV9, AV9 becomes AV8, AV8 becomes AV7.

Clawpomb is a three headed Hydra:
Clawpomb is probably a tad too effective in the pure maths.
Flat skill costs and wide normal access mean such players carry little TV weight and are an optimal build.
It is disheartening to face as it feels like such players are hard to hit back at.
I firmly believe the real problem is all three of those factors and any solution will need to engage with all three.
But as has been said. Fummbl will, and should, follow the official rules in competitive divisions. So lets learn to live with it. |
