You have to be Macavity to get away with these things.
Recordopedia and Larson/Thundercall threads added. |

Newbie question:
I've tried searching because I'm SURE there have been endless discussions about this. Maybe a vet can show me the way (I'm the nice vet on other BBs, I promise)...
Where is the classic thread on "Winning vs. Team Rating"? I'm sure there have been a few. As a newbie I'm confused about the emphasis put on Team Rating over Winning (or winning later over winning today.) I'm SURE this has been discussed a billion times and I'm being a good Newbie by not starting a thread.
Thanks! |

As far as I know, none of those teams ever made it through. See my "Right Bastions". I am a bit weirded out by that thread being here but happy to. It should help more people like PaulHicks! |

I guess you're talking about the conflict between playing to build your team and playing to win at any cost?
That conflict certainly exists, but any debates about it are generally framed differently, I think. Try searching for threads on elf-bowl (or elfbowl, elf-ball, elfball), maybe.
Thanks for giving the thread a bump, anyway. |

Fixed the tags in the top post. (Don't we have spiders who do that!?)
I also demand modern classics for submission! |

Haven't found more appropriate board/topic for this type of question and didn't want to produce one more junk thread. I'm able to browse and watch replays of other coaches' matches here: https://fumbbl.com/p/matches But is there some way to sort them out (or filter) to, for example, somehow separate matches of teams in specific league? I'm particularily interested in Stunty Leeg matches atm. Or may be there is some other way to aquire a dump of recent replays from a particular league? |

Afaik, not via code, only by hand.
Go to the League, look at their Tourney page, open each team and click "Show Matches". Most(!) Leagues don't allow play outside their group, so that should do it. |

Well, in Cyanide's BB there are only leagues, and thats how I percieve any group of BB players, gathered to play each other now - a league. Probably, erroneously.
Smeat, thanks for the tip, I'll try it that way. |
