status in the fumbbl world?
does the @admin give you status
Does fouling every player on the opposing team give u status?
Does being the sportsman give u status?
does the guy who is cockey give him status?
what is status in fumbbl?
High standing; prestige: a position of status in the community.
im going to do a a detailed investigation of peoples opinions on power held in fumbbl and how people will do almost anything to have status... |

Would be a nice thing to see.
Personally, I know very well that I'm leaving a bad impression with like 90% of the people but honestly, I couldn't care less |

Well, I have status, because I have none
(reverse logic)
status would be when...
good side: ...you play a game the spec number of 50 is exceeded...
bad side: your mother comes to the channel to tell you dinner is served
good side: ... your posts/ games/ coach ratin/ whatever rating exceeds 200 zillion (some imaginative big number
bad side: ... you miss classes, work, friends, girl friends, boy friends, parents, life
good side: ... you get a nice tan from your screen
bad side: ... tanning in front of your screen may cause cancer
does the @admin give you status?
... it does, cause you can shove ppl around and bully them
... it does not, cause you get bullied to do stuff
... BUT EVERYBODY KNOWS YOU!!! the more fame the more questions etc. (just think of Skijunkie using a alias account to get the time to even play one (no I don't know the name of the account, thanks [it's not me!!!]))
So I guess the answer is yes
Does fouling every player give you status?
Yes it does, but more in a negative way, like the dark clothed older ppl I rember from school who stole my bread and kicked my shin.
Does being the sportman give you status?
No it does not, I learned that fact in about 1 1/2 years, now I'm happy to do the occasional foul
Does the guy who is cockey give him status?
guess what? guess not!
that was my opinion.
Ping me for further details
<edit>whoops, misread the question... happens you know, bad tan and stuff... yes definetly a good one for the GLN, maybe a quick poll for who is the most known player amongst us... maybe not so good an idea </edit> |

Wuhan is famous because he is a poet at heart... you ever read his rhyme?
So anytime someone can combine slaughter with in-game lyricism they will become justifiably famous |

Wuhan is famous for combining fouling with a decent amount of intelligence and an outspoken intrest in killing your opponent. You know what you get when facing him so you don't end up pissed off when your team is maimed.
This is why Wuhan gets admiration while coaches like Saladhor just are laughed at (this guy was just whining about bad luck and started to foul when his opponent had scored a TD in turn 4 in the first half). |

Blah blah blah, the truth is Wuhan is famous because ... drum roll please ... his name is mentioned in more than half the threads. I know who he is and what he is all about, yet I have never even seen him in the IRC chat or logged on to Fumbbl. I've never played or spoken with him, and all I know about him is heresay as will all the noobs as they read forums like these.
So, there you go. A coach has obtained status when they are constantly mentioned in the forums. |
