I did love how he "served" Jimmy, because he's such an "expert" with 100 games. |

With 100 games on fumbbl.
It's a shame that people need to play thousands of games here before people on this forum start giving them credit.
There are great TT coaches around the world. The guy who made the list surely had a good understanding of the mechanics of blood bowl.
From what I understand he's been a designer of the LRB, and getting treated like a noob by some mister jimmyfantastic (who although is a great guy) or Kenwhatever is not something he had to take.
Hence, he left. A shame, because he could've given something to the community, that's how i see it. |

That's all possible.
But in my limited noob experience, tabletop isn't near the level of competition found on Fumbbl, and they take about 3 hours.
On Fumbbl, my games are on average 45 minutes, and often 30 minutes.
I could argue about all of his points, but I don't see any purpose in it.
His opinion is his own. |

I think a few of you, should look up who Neoliminal actually is. Without Neoliminal, BB and FUMBBL maybe entirely different today. You're making yourselves look stupid with 'you should play a few more games' type comments.
Also little point stabbing at the guy who's AWOL anyway. I'm sure at the time, he'd have been willing to amend his list with expert input. All kind of moot now. |

I read the first page thinking it was from last Christmas :-O
Interesting that a BBRC member said for High Elves "As with most elf teams, passing is paramount."
As for the comments Jimmy at least was reasonable in his 3rd post, but Kenthis revealed how much of a negative influence he was to fumbbl. |

A strange mixture that only works with experienced coaches who can handle the big guys. You'll miss re-rolls.

I disagree with this. Just because you haven't seen them, doesn't mean they are not out there. Some of the best players I know, never come on here. Most Table top is done in Tourneys, and not with inflated killer rosters. Ive played some of the top guys in the world on TT, and let me tell you its easier to beat them on there than it is on here. The pressure of a Major TT tourney is much more intense than in a Fumbbl Tourneys. I will admit they are completely different animals. I don't know your real name Bill, but I wonder how many NAF sanctioned Tourneys you have attended. |

Good point Keggie on the tabletop tournaments. There are some regular players who are exceptional. Though probably a significant amount of those come on here. But playing in a tabletop tournament can, despite being fun, feel quite stressful when you pack the games in, especially if you are not so accustomed to the real tabletop perspective. You may wait ages for a tournament and then feel the pressure when you are there on the day. And you can't just switch to using a different team after a bad game like here. |
