I've put in my time today and spent 5 hours trying to get a game. I have a new team and have hit the "Activate" button every time.
Am I missing something? People have gotten 2 or 3 games in the time I've just been sitting here...
About to give up on this thing. |

So a few things could be happening
1. You're the odd man out because of the pool of teams activating don't have a rookie team amongst them to pair off with you. It happens and it's frustrating.
2. You're not actually selecting the team to enter. |

Addendum to mrt's post:
If you activate for a draw and a draw is made (ie. game scheduled) and you are not listen as "not scheduled" below it, then you did not actually have any teams in the draw. |

aaanh, but you're trying to play in the Blackbox.
personally I'd stick to the Leagues. you get an opponent, lots of fluff, and scheduling. |

Is there somewhere that shows all coaches available? I'm wondering if I'm not doing something necessary to be considered. |

make a secret league team & you'll get a game in decent time. |

Gods no...
Don't do this if you are new to blood bowl.
Otherwise make an R team, I'm sure you'll get games very quickly there. |

No - listing the coaches in the draw is against the spirit of the box. Basically, to activate:
1. Click the "show activation panel" button that opens the scheduler box.
2. inside the activation panel click on the team you wish to activate so that has a green tick beside it, and is highlighted in green
3. Click the green activate button below the activation panel.
[edit] While I pretty much consider "go play elsewhere" posts in the damn blackbox forum tantamount to trolling a thread or simply posting garbage, Licker is fair to point out that at this time, unless you specifically want to play in box, ranked is also an option that may yield more reliably fruitful results. |

For whatever reason, Saturdays are a little dry in the box. Being a fellow US person, I've noticed that between 3-7EST Sunday through Friday are excellent times to activate. Up at the top where it says players online, usually when that gets above 70, you can get a game after at most two activations, and it gets real easy over 100. Once you have played a few games and gotten your TV up, it also helps to have a fresh 1000 TV team to activate at the same time so that the matchmaker will find a good match for you. I'm relatively new to FUMBBL myself so I feel your pain at finding a match US time. |

Acklar, I just saw the activation and you fell victim to no other low TV teams activating. |

I'm ok when there aren't any other low TV teams. It was mostly about other teams with similar TVs playing multiple games before I got one.
I wish there was a modifier in the matchups that gave a higher weight to those that had activated multiple times in a day. |

I reviewed all the matches scheduled going back to 2000 bb time yesterday. I only saw you scheduled in one. Of course I can't see how many times you entered and no matches were drawn but are you sure you are entering a team during the 5 minute window? 9 straight draws without your team even being in the algorithm makes me think that you are doing something wrong on your end. |
