Once again, The Necromiser crawls from his slumber to bring terror upon the Stunty Leeg. Bodies pile high upon the gates of stadiums across the lands in preparation for the Necromiser's annual haunting.
The Necromiser's Nightmare begins!
The Necromiser's Nightmare is an open-play, points-based tournament for any, and all, teams in the Stunty Leeg. The Nightmare consists of a 4-week open-play period, where coaches are scored based on their performance in matches with other Stunty Leeg teams. At the end of the 4-week open-play period, the highest scoring team, and 7 other teams will take part in an 8-man Knockout tournament to determine the winner of this year's Nightmare.
Any team wishing to take part in the Nightmare must do two simple tasks:
Number one!
You must apply with any Stunty team to the Necromiser's Nightmare group page.
Number two!
You must keep a scoring log for your team in the Necromiser's Nightmare VII Scoring Thread.
Teams will be scored on their performance in any Stunty match played within the 4 week period, which begins November 9th at 12:01am Server Time, and ends on December 7th at 11:59pm Server Time. You must be a member of the group by December 7th to gain credit for your matches, and be eligible for the 8-man tournament.
As long as your have applied to the group by this date, all scores within the window will be accepted.
Additionally, your are not required to play teams within the group, as any completed Stunty match within the window is eligible for scoring.
The team with the highest amount of points earned over the 4-week open-play period, will receive an automatic invitation to the finals of the Nightmare. Additionally, a second automatic invitation will be awarded to the team that inflicts the most fatalities over the course of the open-play period. The other 6 slots will be offered to 6 random teams that have participated in the event. Teams can earn tickets to the random drawing based on the amount of points they score during the event. 1 point scored will earn you 1 ticket, 10 points will earn you 10 tickets, so on and so forth. Please see the Necromiser's Nightmare VII Scoring Thread to determine how to score, and what gives how many points.
Lastly, any, and all, Stunty Leeg teams are eligible for this tournament, and coaches may enter as many teams as they wish, but only one team per coach may make it to the finals. Additionally, this is only for Stunty Leeg, and no Ranked, Blackbox, or League participants will be accepted.

1 week in to the qualifying period, 3 remaining. So where are we up to?
Well, so far we have 39 reported dead in the pool (though one person is putting their corpses in the scoring thread, which is really stinking the place out). Highlight of the bunch so far is probably a Blockle/Grab/Guard Mechavermin, though there are a couple of others in the running.
And our current leaders are Antithesisoftime's [S]uckers with 199 points (sorry, your apo RIP to -MA doesn't count), though of course there is still plenty of time to score more points. And there's the most violent team's guaranteed finals spot, not to mention the 6 raffle spots up for grabs.
So go, get out there, play some games and murdelize some fools... |

Slightly more than halfway through the qualifying period now, so it's time for another update.
Our prize pool has swollen to 66 reported dead, and now includes a 2 skill tree (with +MA!). Better than a killer mech? Well, that's for the winner to decide, not you, so shut your face.
Our overall points leader remains Antithesisoftime on 287 total points, but hey, look at it this way: if you kill all his vamps, you not only earn lots of points for yourself, you also hamper his ability to score more! What could possibly go wrong?
So go, vent that pent-up frenzy of frustration and anticipation ahead of the BB2016 release on some other stunty suckers, pound them into the ground and earn your team their very own reanimated monstrosity! |

We're into the last 48 hours of the qualifying period. If you have corpses under your bed that you haven't listed in the Dead Pool yet, now is the time.
And if you have any games played in the Stunty Leeg since November 9th, throw them into the Scoring Thread. Every point scored is an entry into the lottery for the 6 places in the final 8, along with the top points scoring team, and the most lethal... |

In theory the finals start at midnight tonight. In practice, it might be a little bit later than that, but I will be doing the draw for the finals tonight, as soon as I can after I get in from work (about 23:45 server time). |

So,the draw. Tickets were allocated to each team, in the order they appear in the scoring thread. There's a spreadsheet if anyone really wants to see it (or you could even make your own to check my workings). The results:

What about Azure´s dead frenzy fling? Is he available for Necromicer prize or is he considered star?
