It seems I have a bit of problem. Hello, I'm Wotfudboy, and I am addicted to buying teams for this great game!
I wanted to raise awareness within the community here that there are some superb non-GW teams now available, many having come through crowdfunding via Indiegogo or Kickstarter.
What is Crowdfunding and why should I do it?
Put simply, a small company or one man band will not want to risk producing a product until they are sure there is a market for it. They say "I'm going to produce this Dwarf team", and they show you the intended designs, and let you know what you would get for your money. You back the idea, and if they get enough backers (ie funded) then the process begins in finishing designs, producing the miniatures and delivering them. The reasons for backing the crowdfunded project early are numerous, usually including lower price "early bird" deal and/or are exclusive items available only in the campaign. You also get the team before others do of course and usually get a better price overall than you would once it's on general sale later.
I have backed a number of teams this way. There are currently some crowdfunding projects live that might be worth checking out. I will also highlight ones later that I contributed to and received.

I went ALL IN on the Greebo Human/Bretonian team. So worth it. I'm grabbing nearly every other team in his range as add-ons. Nearly 900EU in total. |

I was quite taken by the Bret team, but I'm not sure I would have ever used them in any table top tournaments... But they do look like they would be fun to paint.
I think I'm well on my way to having most teams now, but there are some significant gaps, particularly Chaos Dwarf shaped... Just not found a team where I liked the Bulls, Hobgoblins and the chaos dwarves all in the same team... At best I would have to mix and match, much like I did when I bought my as yet unpainted skaven team, for different manufacturers for the rat ogre, gutters and the rest.

Those look really cool! That spartan one looks amazing. I enjoy Norse, but there's no way I'd have time to pain those to make it worthwhile... Also, I rarely, rarely play table-top...
But, it seems it expired in May 2016? I guess the ones under your divider line are old / expired. |

I don't get the appeal of the old 3rd edition rosters... They are pretty bad in my opinion lol. Way nicer teams out there!  I just bought the MK1881 Chaos team (16 players) and the Vortice Necromantic/Undead (Graveyard) team (16 players). I'm exciting to get to painting them! . |

Just notice here's a topic on these also.
List seems to be missing Meiko Miniatures and Willy Miniatures Kickstarters/Indiegogos..
This is the last Willy did.
I previously own a Khemri (Mythology team) and it's fantastic. Besides the rat team I ordered Nurgle team + some other miniatures.
I'll post some photos of the miniatures when they arrive if someone is interested. |

Just like to share couple quick photos of the Willy Miniatures ratmen team.
They only have primer plus some wash to show the details. Now I need to start painting them.
I think they look amazing and sculpting is great. Not much of errors or so, just needed to clean some molding lines and so on.
If this isn't the right place to post pics, feel free to delete the post.
Also bought couple of minis for old GW Norse team
