I'm sorry if it sounded offensive, it wasn't meant as such. I don't have any problems with your implementation, I just don't like Perl, and I don't see learning it as a reasonable investment of my time. I probably will become bored half-way through the "For dummies" book and drop it all, if I'll try to continue it as it is.
