Linmen: 60K 0-16 60K 6/3/3/8 Animosity, Shadowing G/SAP
Lineelf 0-2 80K 7/3/4/7 Animosity, Shadowing GA/SP
Woodelf Thrower: 0-2 100K 7/3/4/7 Pass, Shadowing, Animosity GAP/S
Woodelf Catcher 0-2 100K 8/2/4/7 Catch, Dodge, Sprint, Shadowing, Animosity GA/SP
Blitzers 0-2 100K 7/3/3/8 Block, Shadowing, Animosity GS/AP
Rerolls: 70K
Apoth: Yes
Background:
Laurelorn is a forest inside the Empire yet the one refuge for Wood Elves outside of Athel Loren. This smaller community of elves has been forced to make tense compromises with the humans that surround them, even allowing some human settlements inside the woods, although other humans have moved in despite the elves protests. These conflicts have possibly become violent, entire human populations near the woods have vanished only to appear again unaware of their own absence.
When blood bowl came to the world, the tensions remained. Some of the elves took the opportunity to leave Laurelorn and join the dominate wood elf teams. However, for every elf who left the forest, three humans tried to take up the space. To avoid being driven out from their homes, the remaining elves sought to make their own teams, but their dwindling population made it difficult to field a full roster, particularly as they lacked the wardancers or the forest spirits that helped to make the wood elf teams so dominate. Out of desperation, the elves teamed up with the kinder humans in their midst, their history of mistrust far from forgotten.
Rational:
Laurelorn is the closest thing in the Warhammer world to a human/wood elf commmunity. I decided to make a "Underground" like team, a mix of two races with six positionals from the "better" race, animosity making ball handling between the races dicy,, but everyone has a bonus that partially makes up for the problem.
Specifically I gave everyone shadowing. I am imaging that from years of the humans/elves secretly keeping tabs/following each other to try and determine what the other is doing. This required a 10K price increase for all the positionals in turn.
After that, the most of the choices were straight forward. Human linemen and wood elf throwers/catchers/linemen. However, I was a bit stuck for the "Big Guy". Treemen don't live in Laurelorn, and I highly question if wood elves would willing work with Ogres. I ultimately decided to make the "Big Guy" two human blitzers.
In short, this team combines some of the speed of wood elves, some of the better durability of humans, plus shadowing to make the entire team a lot better at marking targets, with the minuses of no big guy, expensive players, animosity, and no wardancers. |

Wouldn't the Wood Elf Throwers has P access on a normal roll? |

I like this list, though i'd take Shadowing off of everyone and put the prices back. It just feels tacked on for the sake of making them unique. It's not needed |

Making them unique is fun. I like it. Keep the shadowing dare to be bold! |

I'm not quite convinced about the blitzers instead of a big guy. I'd lean more towards a thug of sorts. Since it's a forest community, a lumberjack will suit.
0-2 Lumberjack 4 4 2 8 Strong Arm 80k GS |

They already have a thrower and that skill adds nothing. Maybe...
0-2 Lumberjack 4 4 2 8 Grab 80k GS
Or maybe thick skull since that'd still be more useful than strong arm! |

Hmmm...
I am always concerned about putting strength 4 and agility four players on the same team without some kind of detriment.
Animosity IS a detriment, but I am not sure it really is enough. |

I'd drop the thrower and catcher, animosity, and increase line-elf to 0-4.
Team is fast and handles ball well, plus has a powerful skill on all players (hunters makes good trackers). To counter, strength and punching power is low with few core skills and high rr. |

Strong Arm was purely for fluff reasons and wasn't expected to add anything. Lumberjacks do have strong arms after all... |

Just give the team 1 Wardancer instead of the blitzers. |

Also i think Blitzers probably should be GA not GS. GS Blitzers on the team is a bit op I think for secret league to give easy hitters with so much ag4.
Otherwise with some cool icons could be interesting to play. |
