A team made from the dregs of society, under nourished, under equipped, used to hiding in the shadows these outcasts have to stick up for themselves just to survive.
Some of these desperate individuals have formed blood bowl teams to try and escape the poverty they live in.
0-16 Pauper 6-2-3-7 Guard, Shadow 40k G(SPA)
0-2 Thief 7-2-3-7 Shadow, Dodge 60k A(GSP)
0-2 Outcast Elf 6-2-4-7 Dodge, Shadow, Animosity 70k PA(GS)
0-2 Outcast Dwarf 5-2-3-8 Block, Thick Skull, Animosity 50k GS(PA)
0-2 Outcast Ogre 5-5-2-8 Bonehead, Mighty Blow, 120k S(PGA)
The paupers have guard and Shadow to represent the fact that they have to stick up for each other and are often ignored by general citizens.
I figured the poor would be somewhat weaker due to poor nourishment so most strength has been reduced by 1, equally their armour is probably sub standard so all the armour is reduced by 1
The outcast Elf and Dwarf have animosity because they are different races.
The dwarf and ogre don't have shadow because they really aren't that stealthy.
The thief should be a bit quicker and have dodge to represent skills gained in their "profession"
Note I almost made the ogres strength 4 which could have put them down t 100k but I though that somehow an Ogre might be able to find enough food, not sure weather to give the Ogre loner or not... |

I quite like the idea behind this team - even the dreaded unwashed masses long to play Blood Bowl, but a team of paupers is in no way under equipped and hiding even with Strength 2...they would do well with mass guard/shadowing and a price of 40K. Something else there - perhaps side-step? as they are used to getting out of the way of everyone else?
Mass shadowing is a bit of an issue for me too...it will slow down the game a lot and not sure it makes (fluff) sense on a pauper.
I think the theif's skills would be better represented with sure-hands and sure-feet(or sprint) for stealing stuff(ball) and running away.
Ogres should probably have loner too?
Anyhow, good stuff. |

A Dwarf would never be on the same team as an elf, no matter how destitute! |

I say leave the Dwarf as a ST3 AG2 player. Makes no sense for the Dwarf to really have lost a ST but gained an AG. Keep it as a usual Dwarf Blocker, Block/Tackle/Thick Skull. I feel only the paupers really need the -1ST to fit the fluff. as they're weaker but mob together hence guard. |

0-16 Pauper 6-2-3-7 Guard, side step 40k G(SPA)
0-2 Thief 7-2-3-7 Strip ball, Sure hands, Side step 80k A(GSP)
0-2 Outcast Elf 6-2-4-7 Dodge, side step, Animosity 70k PA(GS)
0-2 Outcast Dwarf 5-3-2-8 Block, Thick Skull, Animosity 50k GS(PA)
0-2 Outcast Ogre 5-5-2-8 Loner, Bonehead, Mighty Blow, 120k S(PGA)
I've changed the shadowing to side step instead, plus a few tweaks based on the suggestions. |

I think I'm gonna turn into an outcast dwarf in my old-age
"You kids, get off my lawn and quit your rambunctiousness!"
takes a sip of his beer, glares menacingly out the window then returns to his Blood Bowl |

beggars can't be choosers.
Having no shelter, no food, and no clothing changes your perspectives on life.
You no longer have the luxury to be outraged over trivia. |

every society is going to have outcasts. It's thermodynamically impossible not to. Only question is, how many...or how few. |

I quite like the idea of a leper I'd go with 5-2-2-7 Foul appearance, Disturbing Presence, decay for about 40k
Really rubbish stats, but horrible appearance. Could even have some version of the nurgle trait where if the leper injures an opposition player you get a free leper on your roster at the end of the game... |

just give 'em Nurgle's Rot - the leprosy is a gift from him after all. They could probably hide a couple of rotters under rags or something. First double I would take would be leap, just to have a leaping leper |
