We tried to hurt the elven stat freaks. Our own stat freak racked FOUR cas! But despite multiple 7 man fouls, and all the 3d blocks you could ever want, we could not injure the two star elven players. Read all about it in the game report, or listen to ex-con and his commentary! |

GOOD AFTERNOON NCBB!
Now that we’ve officially hit the half way mark for Season 35 we’re going to dive into the number and see how the FBC’s teams are faring. Get a beverage, buckle up, and let’s roll.
Duke Blue-Green Devils
Season 34’s National Champions are back to their old tricks. Although in Week One they were handed their first loss in recent history by Karak, they have since rebounded, going 4/1/0, outscoring their opponents 11 to 4. The tie was the replay of Season 34’s Nation Championship against Wisconsin, requiring an 11th hour OTTD by Wisconsin to prevent the Duke victory. Duke’s spot in the polls is still iffy, due to the strength of schedule (or lack thereof) of their opening weeks of inter-conference play, but most expect Duke to make some progress once they start crushing a higher caliber team. The next few weeks Duke will have to show that they have not grown complacent if they have any desire to make it back to the playoffs to defend their title. If any team can do it, it’s likely Duke. NOTE: Duke has already played their Week 6 opponent, current record 5/1/1)
Um, G'olden Go For Its!
The GFI’s are off to a respectable start, 2/1/1, having missed their Out-of-Conference match against rival UCSD, to be made up later in the season. The only issue with a respectable start is that other teams have had “great†or “excellent†starts. Last season the GFI’s went to the Rose Bowl, and slapped the taste out of Julian Starr’s mouth. In order to make it back to that level Um Go will likely need to win all of their remaining games. That may be a tough row to hoe, but with one of the greatest Ogres seen in a long time, the GFI’s have a chance. This is the senior year for some of the core players, so now is the time to pull out all of the stops. No guts, no glory. Keep your eye on this team to see if they can pull of the Miracle on the Pitch.
Miami BallHawks
Miami will most likely need a rebuilding season after this rebuilding season. Plagued by deaths and maimings, Miami’s best showing the season was against U-Dub in the OoC portion of the season: a match both teams forgot to show up for. So, sitting at 0/1/3, missing key positionals, and the money to replace said positionals, you’ll likely see Miami “turtle it†for the rest of the season with their eyes on Season 36. But, with a star blitzer, you can expect Miami to be headhunting other team’s crucial players, all in an attempt to tank their seasons as well. Because if you’re gonna lose, you might as well lose with style.
Air Force Warpstone Falcons
A record of 3/1/1 would be “Good†or “Okay†by most team standards. But this is Air Force. This record is amazing. They finally bested their longtime rival Miami, battled Fayetteville to a tie, and showed some Orcs which service branch is superior. With 5 weeks remaining, is this the season we see Air Force come out with not only a winning record, but possible a non McNurgles bowl bid? John “Murder Rat†Cannon has their work cut out for them, as well as needed to avoid the teams that are looking to end his career early. An underdog story which you cannot help but cheer for, unless it’s your team Air Force is playing against.
FlaSt Delfinoles
At 2/3/0, FlaSt is still technically undefeated. However, this is a far cry from the 8/0/2 record that lead them to last season’s National Championship playoffs. The Delfinoles look to be on track for picking up an easy 2 or possibly 3 wins for the remainder of the season, but they will need to push hard for some of these games, as additional ties are not going to help. With the right amount of razzle dazzle, this team could inspire others in the end of year Coach’s Poll, perhaps enough so that they end the season with a respectable bowl bid. Overcoming all odds and making it back to the playoffs would require nothing shore of perfection for the remaining matches, and most importantly, defeating Duke.
U Pike Pain Bearers
Sometimes even the Blood Bowl gods get it wrong. That makes we mere mortal not feel so bad when our predictions and reality do not align. If there was even a team we got wrong, it’s U Pike. Six weeks in and a solid 5 losses (and one missed game.) They showed such promise in the Non AQ, but have proven they were not ready for the big leagues. However, all is not lost. There are a few bottom dwelling teams U Pike has yet to face during inter-conference play, so a non-loss is still a possibility. Priority numero uno is going to be keeping their valuable players alive for next season.
Grunts of ARMY
After five weeks ARMY sits at 0/1/4. Their passing game has yet to really materialize, and Thrower Full Bird has recently suffered a niggling injury. As this team continues to build and develop they may find their niche lies outside of the realm of passing the ball, and perhaps with smashing. Expect an additional win or two before the season is out, as Army builds for next season’s renewed attack on the NCBB.
Washington Huskarls
Even I, who predicted Washington being an adapt team who was ready to make a name for themselves in the big leagues, am surprised at how well they have done. 3/2/1, halfway through their second season, and the likelihood of additional victories being within their grasp. So far the Huskarls have done exactly what they’ve needed to do to neutralize their opponents and score touchdowns. If they can find a way to keep their amour from crumbling expect these bad boys from the North to be bowl bound this season.

Welcome to NCBB and “the Beast this Week†where we take a look at the biggest matchup in the big beast conference and analyze it to the point where it is no longer fun. This week we have the Ottawa Beebess coached by Nelphine against the California Golden Lizards coached by ex-convict. Both of these teams are having outstanding seasons Cal is at 2-3-0 while Ottawa is at 3-2-0.
Despite their records eact team has yet to win a game in conference both teams dominating in their OOC matchups. Both teams hav similar points scored with the bee bees having 9 and the lizards having 10 but the one td etra scored is made up by the bee bees only allowing 4 while the lizards have given up 5. Still very good numbers by both teams.
Now that the boring math is out of the way let's talk about what everyone really came here to talk about. Stat freaks. Newest entry to the Big Beast pissing contest Cal. skink runner Kyle Harmon is having a breakout year with MA 10 and AG4. This little guy is going to be running all over the damn place and going to be impossible to pin down if Nuffle forbid he is rewarded with a double on his next skill… Ottawa however has a star blitzer in ghoul Julian Starr. See what i did there? This ST block Sure hands MB tackle monster can do it all. He will knock you down murder you eat your corpse then take the ball and run it in all in one play. These two players are going to make this murder festival worth watching. The game is set for 9pm eastern time Sunday so be sure to tune in! |

Hello everyone this is coach Waagh reporting live from his phone at the very last minute before your game of the week! I hope you are strapped in because this one looks to be a great matchup between Julian Starr and Cinco de Miffin. Coach Charlie will be fighting his America Day hangover while coach Nelphine will be 4 days self removed from his Canada day hangover. Charlie better eat some McDonald's and drink some water because Nelphine looks to give him all he can handle. For anyone living in a squigs belly this season Cinco and Starr are both playing to be the leader in all time career SSP. This is not a game between teams or between coaches this is a game between players and I expect to see them big the ball hog the blitz and soak up as much SSP as they can to try and get ahead of one another. Tune in tonight at 10pm eastern 9 central and let's hope the both leave it ALL on the pictch! |

Hello everyone and welcome to NCBB TV and your Big beast game of the week preview show. Well I suppose you guessed who our game of the week is this week? That's right it is our two last teams that have gone undefeated in conference play Berea and Poli! The winner of this game has a great chance to win the big beast and with the teams and coaches in this conference that's a more prestigious championship than the National Championship itself. On the surface Poli dosent have any one great player. Martine gramatica is a ST4 blocker and their star runner Wilson alverez has AG4 but fancy stats and huge stars aren't what this team is about they win through teamwork persistence and positioning the three Ps of blood bowl if you will. Things are looking good for Poli this season and they have already knocked off Fayetteville and if they can win (or not loose) against their next three opponents, then high bowl honors will be awarded for sure.
Next we have Berea! Coach wolvezzz has also gone undefeated in conference play unlike Poli however his team is rather special. Three ST4 players one of which also has AG4!? This team which also loaded up on guard will pack some serious punch. And they will need it in this matchup... This dwarves amazon matchup is terrible for Berea so if they could pull off a draw here and leave the game with a mostly healthy team well... Call that a win coach.
To wrap up this should prove to be an exciting game. Two experienced coaches with a glass cannon vs titanium cannon type matchup that will go down in big beast history! Well thanks for reading! |

GOOD EVENING NCBB!
Here we are at Week 8, and now it’s time to take a look at how the FBC is shaping up for the end of season bowl bids. Make a snack, and let’s crack on.
Clinched Division Title and Bowl Bound
Duke Blue-Green Devils
Duke is sitting pretty with a 5/1/1 record, and their 4/0/0 conference record has them sitting just outside of the Top 4, but with three matches to go (and with TCU effectively committing suicide) expect to see Season 34’s National Champions in the playoff hunt for a repeat title. Now, Duke does suffer the curse of a lot of hate in the end of the year Coaches Poll, but as long as they continue to win, no one will be able to argue with their record (minus the “strength of schedule†part.)
Still in the Hunt
Air Force Warpstone Falcons
Believe it or not, Air Force is only two wins away from a bowl invite. All that stands in their way is U Pike, Duke, and Washington. Elves, and Lizards, and Norse, oh my! It’s still a fight, but two more wins are possible for this team, and because everyone loves an underdog, the former darlings of the McNurgle’s Bowl can expect to see a lot of upvotes in the Coaches Poll. Can Murder Rat seal the deal?
FlaSt Delfinoles
Another member of the “Need 2 Crewâ€, but FlaSt has already played their Week 8 match, and the tie didn’t help them. To make matters worse, their final two matches of the season are against Washington and Duke. Never count elves out of it, especially a solid roster like the Delfinoles, but both of their opponents are going to look to smash said roster, and crush any hopes of a bowl bid. Could be a thrilling finish.
Um, G'olden Go For Its!
Poised on the brink of greatness, the GFI’s are coming down to the final three matches, looking for two wins. Week 8 sees them squaring off against Duke, in what could be a major upset if the GFI’s become the conference giant killer. So much speed, so much strength… Damn, I can nearly TASTE an upset here! If not, the GFI’s still have two chances to smack around their opponent and walk in some touchdowns. If you were going to place a bet, this is the team to do it on.
Washington Huskarls
Last of the “2 and Throughâ€, the Huskarls. Expect them to snap their three week losing streak in Week 8, and then it’s FlaSt and Air Force. Will it be Washington that causes Air Force’s dream to come to a crashing end? Will Washington put the final nail in the coffin for FlaSt? So many possibilities, so much excitement. If Washington expects to do any of this they are going to need to mitigate injuries to their players, as they’re lacking any form of a bench. High-risk/high-reward, or recipe for disaster? We’ll have to wait and find out.
Miami BallHawks
Only is a crazy world like this would Miami, who has had a poor showing this season, still have a shot at a bowl game. What would it take? Pounding out ARMY, a massive upset against the GFI’s, and then, by the grace of Nuffle, a victory over the U-Dub Elfskies in a makeup of an unplayed OOC match from earlier in the season. Let’s face it, Miami is out of this one. Unless you remember the Miracle of Season 32. Unless you believe…
__________________________________________
It’s all coming down to the wire here in the FBC, which serves as a reminder, always look for tripwires when attempting a dodge of a GFI into the endzone. See you out on the pitch. |

Hello everyone and welcome to "NCBB decision 2020" where we will focus on the contenders for the McNurgle bowl. For those of you who are reading from outside the league or are otherwise unaware the McNurgle Bowl features the leagues worst teams and is a "Toilet" bowl of sorts. The worst of he worst battle it out in a contest of ineptitude for the entertainment of the entire league.
This year there are seven contenders for the "honor" and we will go through them one by one in Alphabetical order as to not influence voting in any way. We don't do that here in the NCBB as ACCURATE voting based on MATH only is the obvious best choice and no upvoting or down voting is ever done. With all that laid out let's get right to it
Alabama (0-5-5)
A winless squad with 5 draws. Math would indicate this is not the worst team because they do have 5 draws and apparently that is better than one win. But hey I'm going to add them because they are winless. Still this team has some impressive draws against the Warfrogs, Karak and TCU along with having a sure win stolen by the matadors in what we are calling "the play". Not the strongest contender for the Big Game but winless still.
App St. (1-1-
The only victory came against fellow McNurgle contender UTEP and the draw against a somewhat respectable Berea squad. Still a massive 8 losses.. however many of these losses came from quality programs including Howelson, San Doggo, Fayetteville, and Ottowa. Still the thing that really makes this team a contender us their pitiful roster with few developed players this team would be sporting loners and a star player or two if the make the game.
ARMY (1-1-6)
The win came against a quality Florida St. Team and the draw against a good Brohio squad. Still this team hasn't finished all it's games so a couple more kisses or failure to finish could land them in McNurgle.
Indiana (0-4-6)
Another winless squad with impressive draws against U-dub, the Warfrogs, Navy and the Krytens. Still with 0 wins it would be a disservice not to include them.
North VA (1-1-7)
Here is a true McNurgle contender! Bad roster selection, low quality win and draw and a plethora of losses! A team after my own heart! See you in the big game? Very possible.
UPIKE (0-0-
Not only are they winless but they are also beat to hell and didn't play all their games! I can smell the stench of McNurgle on them as well as I can in my own locker room!
UTEP (0-5-4)
Another winless team that has too many quality ties to be true McNurgle contenders. Still they did lose to APP ST... So...
Ok obviously I lost steam as this thing went on. But hey what did you expect? Something well thought out and articulated? We're talking about the worst teams here and one needs the worst writer to cover them. It was done intentionally probably. Anyway, good luck in the voting to all these "prestigious" schools and I hope to meet you in the big Lame.. I mean game... |

Note from the FBC Commissioner's Office
In a previous update the Commissioner listed FBC teams which were still possibly bowl eligible, incorrectly stating that they needed a minimum record of five (5) wins. Math is not the Commissioner's strong point; inspiring teams to whoop some butt, however, is. |

Buenos Noches, NCBB!
What a thrilling season it has been. There was plenty of drama, thrills, scoring and kills. It’s Blood Bowl so good it makes you want to smack your momma! With the regular season complete let’s take a look at the teams and their records, some highlights and lowlights, as well as some speculation on the post season bowl games they may qualify for. WARNING: this is not for the faint of heart.
#1 - Duke Blue-Green Devils
Record – 7/1/2
Best Match – Duke’s loss to FlaSt
Worst Match – Week 2’s loss to Karak
Duke made good on their expectations for Season 35, nearly sweeping inter-conference play, and finding themselves tied for most number of matches won, amongst the main conferences. What stopped Duke from being the outright #1? Their worst match of the season, a shocking loss against Karak University. While this match didn’t do much in the way of long term damage to the program, it did remind everyone that the Season 34 juggernaut could bleed. Duke’s best match of the season was their loss to rival FlaSt. How can a loss be the best match? Because this was the National Championship match we never got to see Season 34 because of the pandemic. This was the match we all wanted to see, and it was amazing the entire way through. Whether this is how Season 34 would have ended will always be up for debate, but that’s the past, and we need to concentrate on the future. Duke is in the top 4 amongst most of the polls, enough so that even with their end-of-season hate they get in the Coaches Poll they will still be in the playoffs for a shot on the NC. Does Duke still have what it takes?
#2 - Air Force Warpstone Falcons
Record – 5/2/3
Best Match – The surprising tie against Fayetteville
Worst Match – Riviary loss to Navy
This has been one impressive year for Air Force. They came out hard, setting the pace with a surprising tie against heavily favored Fayetteville, and aside from their 0-2 loss to rival program Navy, no other team outright beat Air Force. Sure, there were two (2) additional losses, but by slim margins of a single touchdown, and with Air Force going toe-to-toe with casualties. From back-to-back McNurgles Bowl appearances in Seasons 32 & 33 to second in the division; Air Force has put in a lot of work this season. The polls tend to show Air Force trailing behind several teams, but hopefully the Coaches Poll will take into account what a monumentous feet this was this team, and push them higher in the possible bowl selection. Well done, Air Force!
#3 - FlaSt Delfinoles
Record – 5/4/1
Best Match – A commanding victory over rival Duke
Worst Match – Loss to Army
FlaSt was the sleeper team from the FBC. They started off with an unimpressive 1/2/0 record during out-of-conference play, but from there managed to amass 4 more wins while only losing a single match, all without any real fan fair. But if you dig into these matches you see that not only did the Delfinoles put up points on the board (nearly doubling points allowed), they did it while taking a beating (25 casualties suffered.) Their seasonal highlight is easy: the victory against Duke; nearly a perfect match for the dark elves, while their loss to Army served as a reminder that you must always plan for failure. Due to the pandemic ravaging the nation, FlaSt has opted out of any bowl invites for the season, and it therefor removed the polls. Good showing, and we hope to see you back next season.
#4 - Um, G'olden Go For Its!
Record – 5/2/3
Best Match – The beating of the Hillbillies
Worst Match – Rivalry loss to Howlson
Any other time and place, the GFI’s would have had what most would call “an impressive season.†But, due to the overwhelming success of teams both in and out of conference they find themselves in the polls further down than their record, at first glance, would indicate. How did Um Go get this impressive record? By swarming their opponents and throwing as many blocks as possible. It proved to be very effective, seeing as how they racked up seven casualties against the Appalahcian State Hillbillies, in the GFI’s best showing of the season. Unfortunately, the following week was a “What happened?†moment, as Howlson came in and carved Um Go apart. The GFI’s might see some additional love in the Coaches Poll, as Human teams tend to be viewed as having a disadvantage against most other teams, so the possibility of a decent bowl invite still exists. It’s senior year for some big name players, so let’s go out in style.
#5 - Miami BallHawks
Record – 4/2/4
Best Match – Unexpected defeat of U-Dub
Worst Match – Loss to TCU
It was a difficult year for the BallHawks, starting off 0/1/3. There were several times the team flat out failed to do anything properly, such as their early season loss to TCU, where dodges, blocks, and simple defense seemed to be unattainable. But after mid-season Miami finally decided to actually make an effort, which drastically turned things around for the program. They began to win matches, develop players, and even the coach of the team had to commend his players on collectively getting their heads out of each other’s asses. It was the big match at the end of the season against U-Dub that finally pushed Miami over the .500 mark for the season, and got them into bowl territory. Unlike previous seasons the BallHawks are not going to get a lot of attention in the Coaches Polls, so at best there may be an invitation to a theme bowl. Still, not the worst for a recovery year.
#6 - Washington Huskarls
Record – 3/2/5
Best Match – Opening defeat of Berea
Worst Match – Tie against Army
Washington jumped in hard, going 3/1/0 in their opening four, including an impressive win against Berea in “The Battle of AV7.†In those same four matches they out CAS’ed their opponents 19-5. So what went wrong? It’s hard to say. On paper, the casualties flipped, going 9-19 in their final 6 matches. Their scoring ability dropped, going from 8 TD’s in those first four matches to only 3 TD’s in the final 6. They were out bashed, they were out balled, and in the end, outplayed. Their final match of the season, where a win was needed to secure a bowl invite, only resulted in a tie. While better than a loss, in a must win scenario, a tie is a loss. All in all, a good showing from a team in their first season in the main conferences, and a close finish. The core of the team is still there, so let’s see what next season brings.
#7 - Grunts of ARMY
Record – 1/2/7
Best Match – Massive upset of FlaSt
Worst Match – Tie against Washington
Army just never made the impact they were hoping for. The strength of their opponents didn’t really help matters any. This team and its players never got on the same page, or traveled in the same direction, which happens sometimes. Army did manage a huge upset against FlaSt, one that will likely be referenced for a few seasons to come. Their biggest downfall of the season was the tie against Washington, as they had the game on lock until the last few turns. Word around the league is Army might be closing their program, it is yet unknown if this is temporary or permanent. The FBC would welcome Army back anytime, if they decided to return.
#8 - U Pike Pain Bearers
Record – 1/0/9
Best Match – Defeating Army
Worst Match – Everything else
Ugh. Maybe it was the wrong conference at the wrong time. Maybe it was a block when it should have been a dodge. Or maybe Nuffle just decided to crap all over U Pike this season. This team still has potential, as they are young, and presumably hungry, and there players present have a chance to grow into something special. So don’t sleep on this team yet, or you might be surprised. Look for U Pike to have a stunning performance in Season 35’s McNurgle Bowl. Best of luck!
__________________________________________
So that’s that for the season. Well played, everyone. Leave the shameless self-promotion to other, come to the FBC, where the real teams play. |

It’s the witching hour, NCBB, and the Season 35 Bowl matches have just been announced.
Let’s take an FBC-centric view of this season’s bowl games
McNurgle's Bowl
Appalahcian State Hillbillies (Beast, 1-1-8.) vs U Pike Pain Bearers (FBC, 1-0-9)
Not the bowl game anyone wishes to get the invite to, but still an important match, as it’s a team’s last shot at redemption for the season. We won’t bother to look at season for these teams so let’s look at the teams.
App State sits at 1300TV, fielding ten (10) players and a journeyman. U Pike is currently parked at 1520TV, with only 10 players, and 120k in the bank. Expect U Pike to throw caution to the wind with the inducements they’re giving away, push the skills advantage, and purchase a rookie Witch Elf for the match. This would give App State ~330k worth of inducements. While App State appears to have the skills to match U Pike in a slugfest, the humans are lacking any means to combat an aerial assault, if U Pike chooses to go that route. App state is also lacking a dedicated ball handler. Could we see Griff make an appearance on the pitch in this match?
Prediction:
U Pike claims the victory, 2-1, but suffers some injuries that will impact Season 36.
WaffleHouse Salty Tears Bowl
Illinois Valley CC Ranchers (SCC, 4-4-2) vs Miami BallHawks (FBC, 4-2-4)
The Ranchers have strength, speed, agility, claws, horns, a bench, and cash reserves. What they do not have is Guard, Dodge, or a dedicated ball handler. Miami has dangerous blitzers, threat of a long game, and a large roadblock/target. What they lack is a bench, nor the funds for one.
At 1890TV and 190k in funds, and 13 players, the Ranchers can go anywhere with this team prior to the match, and are going to be the favored team. Miami, 1530TV, 10 players, and 140k in the bank will need to make some decisions on how they’re going to approach this match and build accordingly. But being the underdog, both in match outlook and TV, is Miami’s comfort zone, so anything is possible
Prediction:
Look for Illinois Valley to push one block too far, opening up an opportunity for Miami to steal this one away.
Famous Irrana Potata Bowl
Um, G'olden Go For Its! (FBC, 5-2-3) vs Texas Tech Red Reptiles (Non-AQ, 7-1-2)
Poised to go out in style the Go For Its are armed to the teeth with skilled players, a deep bench, and a large flow of cash. Texas Tech has none of that, but they have an impressive line of strength that will be difficult to get through, and a fleet of fast, agile players.
The GFI’s are at 2180TV, 15 players, and 410k in reserves. They’re going to need all of that money for next season, as they are getting ready to graduate several players after this match. Look for them to take to the pitch as is. At 1340TV, 8 players, and 100k in the bank, Texas Tech is looking a little too lean. But you know what they say, “Everything is bigger in Texasâ€, and the Red Reptiles are looking at ~660k worth of inducements. Will that possibly be enough to sway the match?
Prediction:
Expect the Go For Its to swarm Texas Tech and look to eliminate any chance of mobility, while hunting Skinks. The inducement monies will not be able to overcome the onslaught. 2-1, the GFIs.
Tossitos' Fiesta Bowl
Air Force Warpstone Falcons (FBC, 5-2-3) vs Paris University DeadJokers (Non-AQ, 7-2-1)
This has been the year of the Rat/Goblin/Troll, and Air Force is committed to adding a bowl victory to the already impressive season. Murder Rat, tentacles, speed, and scoring. Shudders. But the dead know no fear, and the Paris DeadJokers are not to be laughed at. They have the necessary skills to score and inflict some damage.
Air Force is weighing in at 1740TV, 13 players, and 600k in funds. By contrast, the DeadJokers are 1450TV, also 13 players, and 150k to spend. If both teams’ rosters stay static, PU is looking at ~290k for inducements. I smell the possible inclusion of a third wolf on the pitch. This has all the makings of an absolute slaughter fest.
Prediction:
Air Force will inflict damage, but necromantic powers will eliminate the advantage, as a werewolf begins to eat Air Force’s goblins. What it will finally come down to is speed and scoring. Look for a mega clash between Gutter Runner and Werewolf for whom can wrack up the most touchdowns. Too close to call.
BCS National Championship Semifinal II
Gallaudet Deaf Bulls (AKC, 6-4-0) vs Duke Blue-Green Devils (FBC, 7-1-2)
An absolute clash of the titans. Gallaudet cannot be properly described in words; they are the evil dreams of a madman, speeding towards your endzone in a violent, punishing, orgy of destruction. Duke is the cliff that the sea crashes upon, breaking the once mighty waves into millions of pieces. This is the classic example of the unstoppable force vs. the immovable object.
At 1750TV, 13 players, and 630k gold, anything Gallaudet wishes to do is possible. The same is true for Duke, at 1800TV, 12 players, and an unbelievable 1.06 million in gold. Duke’s only weakness is perhaps their lack of a bench, but with all positionals being filled, only rookie Skinks could be added. Those skinks are going to be the lifeline of this Duke team in this match, but how far will they be able to run when Gallaudet’s Bull Centaurs can still catch them? Gallaudet will batter the Duke defenses, but will they be able to inflict any lasting damage?
Prediction:
The winner of this match goes on to win the National Championship.

JIM: hello everyone and welcome to the premier edition of the NCBB on CBS! my name is Jim Green and with me as always is former all star black orc blocker for the Orcland Raiders Owie Long. How are you doing today Owie?
OWIE: None of your Business
JIM: sigh* We have decided to grace this league with our presence because as many of you know, and by many i mean like five of you, three of which may actually see this broadcast, who used to watch our weekly broadcast the CBFL on CBS will no longer get to see it because the CBFL and us are taking a break.
OWIE: So like you guys are seeing other people
JIM: Well the CBFL is a league not a person...
OWIE: Well okay but just don't sleep with anyone else. you remember how that worked out for Ross.
JIM: Well exposition aside we are here to talk about the national championship game of the NCBB.
OWIE: thats right! Tzalarans clawyouts play Dasergeuxs Quebec city were wolves in what is sure to be a bloody mess.
JIM: Owie. we are talking about the NCBB here. that game is already over.
OWIE: Congratulations TCU on another national title!
JIM: The Dook Bluegreen Devils are up against The Fayetteville Bronchospazems. It is the huge elves against the rebuilding lizardmen on the grandest stage of them all. the best teams in the biggest league! i could bore you all with stats and other information that could help determine who we think the winner would be but Kzarik and Nelphine have bored us all with numbers plenty already and now it is time for some good old fashioned blood bowl! so Owie who do you think is going to win?
OWIE: Well Joey Mendez is a great player and that other bull is really great too but Julian Starr is also really good and made legend really fast....
JIM: Owie those teams lost.
OWIE: so what we have the three and four seed in the championship? i guess it is a good thing we have the playoffs now. Think of how pissed of SMU would have been to get left out only to be forced into a game with some overrated scrubs for lower stakes!
JIM:...
OWIE: UNAM and Dook never get downvoted or left out! the two best teams and coaches who had the best seasons are always selected to play in the championship thanks to our unbiased and clearly focused coaches poll.
JIM: So what inducements do you predict duke to take?
OWIE: A wizard would be really good against wood elves. i would probably start there.
JIM: Clearly you are super aware of the rules of NCBB. Anyway. I am picking Fayetteville to win this one. there is too many stat freaks on that team and not enough tackle on dook and lizards cant induce tackle.
OWIE: Is that the end of the show? shouldnt we do some kind of wrapup segment?
JIM: I think you just did. |
