Does safe pair of hands work with diving catch? (Or fumbl-rooksie + diving catch)
As in place the ball in an empty square next to a player with diving catch.
If so, is there a scenario where this could prevent a turnover? (Other than the ball carrier using pile driver) |

No, because Diving Catch only works on a ball landing from a kick off, throw-in, or pass.
Safe Hands only activates when the ball carrier is Knocked Down or placed prone, and in either case, that's a turnover if it occurs on your turn.
If your ball carrier has pile driver and safe pair of hands, they shouldn't use safe pair of hands, they should hope that the ball bounces onto a friendly player. (Still a turnover, don't lose possession) |

Diving Catch would be so much more interesting if it worked on bouncing balls. It would be a great combo with strip ball then. |

Nerves of steel is better than diving catch. Diving Catch is superior only if the character in question is AG3. Ag2 take nerves of steel if you have that deceptive catch itch to scratch. |
