For serious advices more information is needed.

Do you just play on fumbbl? Do you play the board game? Does he play tabletop games or just board (classic) games?

If you own two teams for the board game version:
Make a introduction match, show him the basics, play lightwight - this is always the best start playing Blood Bowl.

Hello

Provide your friends with some interesting content to entice people to try blood bowl. Look for videos of gaming on YouTube; such as  blood bowl gameplay. More details can be found on websites such as the official games workshop page and blood bowl wiki. These materials will show the enjoyment and depth of strategy of the game. Cool

Why not just play HeroQuest w/ him? It's great fun! The new Zargon app makes things much more convenient & there are loads of new heroes to choose as well as new game play. I recently got my niece & nephew into it, but my nephew already plays BB.

While you play HQ look to find similarities in the games to entice him such as it takes around the same time to play both games or that both games use a 'block' dice rolling system for attacks.
