Get in their way...
That's really the answer. Just stand in their way and apply pressure at the correct time. |
And this is the way to beat Khemri.
Its really hard to score with Khemri, only thing good they are is on defend. |

I like Dauntless, but I have to agree that using Dauntless on ST5 is ... okay, at best. Dauntless is really good for Humans, but that's because it's a very cost-effective way to deal with ST4, with half the failure odds, that usually results in 1d if it doesn't work.
Daunts plus Pro and Block or Wrestle is kinda better; if you can get 1d on a Daunts failure use Pro to reroll Daunts, and if you can't, save it for the half-die, and the combination is ... better. I still wouldn't call it anything like reliable, but it is nice to have, I guess. |

Agree, dauntless on str 3 against str4 is imo great on humans and norse on those 2d blocks. But there failing roll is just 1d and not -2d. Or not making stupid opening plays as suggested |

It's better to have the chance of 1d blocking a ST 5 with ST 3 Dauntless than have no chance at all.
If, for example, the ST 5 player is marking two players, the Dauntless block could free them, and that's more likely than risking two 3+ dodges (not to mention that blocking the ST 5 player could remove him from the pitch). |

Best way to beat Khemri is to gaze em all and steal the ball or throw a bomb and take down many players ![Very Happy](./modules/PNphpBB2/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

the best way is to get pouring rain on the kickoff so they can't pick the ball up ![Smile](./modules/PNphpBB2/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

I think it's also important to acknowledge that some races are just a terrible match-up, and it's perfectly OK to lose or draw the majority of those games.
For humans and company to beat khemri, the khemri need to have a bad day, AND the humans need to be in a position to take advantage of that misfortune when it reaches a critical level. To take advantage of a situation, you need players.. so you can't sacrifice all of your players to the undead cage on Turns 1-5, trying to prevent any forward progress.
How many players you have left.. how many BOTH DOWNs khemri roll in the first half.. these things are not up to you.
If khemri misfortune never comes, it's hard to score around a wall of ST5 players, and it's very hard to get the ball out of a ST5 box that is being moved down-pitch with any reasonable amount of skill.
Beating khemri requires luck, and enough skill to know when that luck has arrived and what to do about it. (AND at least average human luck when they do make their move.. this is a lot to ask of the d6) Without that window of luck, your personal skill is often irrelevant. It's OK to lose.
One must learn to enjoy the process of waiting for luck.. preparing for luck in these match-ups, even if that luck never comes.
If you get bored, you can also throw every player you have at the cage on Turn 6 or 7 and hope for the best. That can be interesting to watch, but usually doesn't work out well. Don't do it earlier than that, because if you do make a mess, they will just recover in time to still score.
If making a mess is your plan, the more players the better. Leave your original LoS lineman in the prone position and only stand them up when it's time to swarm the cage. Often the easiest way to remove khemri players is watching the ref do it.
My 2 cents. Drawing against khemri using an AG3 team is pretty darn good. |

Khemri is easier to bog down than dwarves.
The more they get delayed the harder for them to dash for a TD.
Fastest player being M6, you really need to progress every turn towards the opponent end-zone (and I'm not good at that...). |

also, dont be afraid to half dice block sometimes... if the opposing player has no block, your odds are pretty good. |
