Hi !
I've discovered this thread recently, so I thought I'd give a try to BBCode myself 
So it's absolutly no "BB wonder", but maybe just an exemple of what can be done with very few knowledge of it, and THANKS TO MANY INSPIRATIONAL JOBS seen here, in this thread !

Oh thanks
I'm far from being satisfied, maybe it lacks "identity" (I'm thinking of a front page with more fluff and pictures) and not sure I should handle 2 languages like this. But I hope this will help the players during the competition. |

More than one year later, I've added a few things here and there.
I've abandonned french + english, as nearly all the players are french, and added an "identity" I was looking for, but still a lot of things to do with images I think...

Hey, I do not know if this thread is still used, but since there were some discussions about the new team page and how it affects some of the best bios I have seen so far, I wanted to share my work here as well:

The general idea was to create some kind of banner which works with the old and the new team page alike and which is not negatively impacted either by the slightly less wide area available of the old page (900 vs. 950px I guess), nor by the collapsed view the new team page starts with.
Anyone who has an interest in the bio can use the toggles (do not forget to show more at the new page) and read as much as he likes.
I am not fully satisfied with the toggle banner due to the blurry text, but I guess it may still work as an inspiration.
Thanks for CFFL and all the others who did such a great job with there pages. It helped as an inspiration and also as a source for code snippets.

I like a bio, but of course the old templates don't work so well now. I updated my underworld https://fumbbl.com/t/1044022 with a simple one with code another coach shared.
Happy to share that simple code, though I'm not sure how to paste BB code into the forum without it been active?
In MS Basic I'd 'Remark' the code out with leading apostrophes, is there something similar for BB Code? |

I guess that is what CrisisChris is doing. In my gallery I have White and Black images I interchange for toggles (example on my 'about' coach page).

Yes I am using the images for the toggle because I wanted to try and mirror the header of the floatpanel.
I did not find any information how to toggle other than image or button. And I could not figure out how to design the buttons.
The toggle function of the helmets and the star in the DYK box are just gimmicks I wanted to try.  |

Yeah I tried to change the colour of the toggles but did not get it to work. I hoped you might know how, but it seems not to be possible. I did not know you could use images, so they had to stay grey:
