Hi all
Where's a good place to get pics that would be fit as portraits for, say, a Chaos team? And, that are small enough to use, of course?
I got all portraits for my Orc Team, and people seem to like it (Don't make the greenskins play any better, alas), and I'm sure there must be some great Demonic images up for grabs SOMEWHERE on the net...but does anyone know where? Or how to really squeeze a pic inot the kind of size limit that'd allow them to be used on FUMBBL? Thanks! |

I don't know, try imaging searching Lovecraft or, what's-his-face... Geiger? The guy who designed the Alien aliens. |

I'm using "the gimp" to copy/crop/paste pictures for my fumbbl players icons. I'm mostly using google image to get pictures (and also wikipedia for licence free images). When using "the gimp" there is a save picture as function that when you select save as "jpg" and tic the preview of the picture, the application also gives you the size of the result image file so you know if it fits fumbbl.com 10Kb limit.
You can see some of my sets here :
Hoops , Plants
Rugby Heroes <-- these are 114*169 (dunno why I thought 169 was the correct size at the time I did them)
Edit : fumbbl player pics need to be at 114*177 pixels to fit the javabowl client nicely too. |

If someone can show my how to move my pics from my folder to the public gallery, I have 3 or 4 good demons (even one with horns!) from my Buffy and Angel teams. |

you can use pictures of any size ... just have to resize them to 114x177 pixels ... try a google picture search for daemon, chaos or something that way |

He is going to be my next gobbo (to replace Speedy Claxton) but I was more on a "Big Guy"/"Center" for Ogres and "Speedy/Point Guards" for gobbos.
Thanks for the hint. (huge Jordan fan inside here). |

They don't need to be, but it's recommended. In case of overlarge pictures, the client does the cropping, which is not optimal as it just places the image in the left hand bottom(?) corner and doesn't show anything that goes over the 114x177 pixels. It's a good idea to resize and crop the picture yourself, which takes very little time once you learn how to do it. |

Or get RandomOracle to do it for you ! Seriously, that one just looked a bit different, not sure if it's actually different specs than the others. |

Quoting myself as I am again looking for the correct size of picture to use as player images.
Is it still 114x177 ?
Is the 10kb limit still in place ?
Thanks |
