CR says, at my best, I'm a match for Malmir at his worst, except for that time I won the fumbbl cup, where I passed him in the game I won on kicks. Which I think is fair.

And I haven't played C div for ages except to lose a bit, so, yeah, CR says it doesn't know if I'm good any more or not, but, I'm not going to be bad at the game. Which I think is fair.

Like, it's not terribly inaccurate in the long run, and it won't rate you top unless you've played a fair bit and also beaten a good few top coaches in a row. Which I think is fair.

I dunno, if you have a ranking system, at all, this one seems to put really good coaches up top of it when they're playing a fair bit, especially if they play each other close together, like in a major tournament.

And yeah, you gotta be lucky, but that's bloodbowl, like golf, the more you practice, the luckier you get.

If CR accuracy is a concern, it's better to play thousands of games in the Box (not on Gamefinder) than say CR is a joke.
Play a lot, play often (at least 2-3 games every day) and CR accuracy will increase.

I like the CR today as it is calculated in FUMBBL

And clearly the forum title ‘joke’ is a provocation.

I don't think the CR is a joke at all and i don't complain the ranking sysytem.

On the contrary: for information I voted for point 3.

The Glicko2 is a very good system that allows you to associate a score to the coach that is ‘somehow’ linked to his skill and thus also to define a ranking, a score that is somehow linked to his skill.

Without me putting others 100 euros back on the table because I'm running out money (the ones I have are waiting for Malmir to come and get them Wink ) I think the majority of coaches on this site consider the CR ranking to be fairly realistic on how much strong and good a coach is in playing blood bowl.

I have been reproached for using subjective terms like ‘deserved’ ' fair' 'unfair'.
Whatever i am writing is my personal opinion , and I think (is my personal opinion) that those who are top 30 in the overal CR ‘deserve’ the place they have (i like to consider the earned CR a sort of prize for the best talented) : I don't know how many agree with me on this last point.

However, I founded in different period (a few) coaches who surprise me to find them in top 10 positioning of the ranking. Especially when I watch how do they play: usually what i discover is that such coaches play infrequent gamefinder competitive games just once per week (so they don't suffer the decay rate ) tiers 1 team vs other coach much less experienced or playing Tiers 3 team: I don't know if this is on purpose or not.

They go up sometimes and then disappear sometime (precisely because the system works... or because they stop playing and decay mechanism has effect ).

But if they play infrequently (and at least once per week: this is key) they can manage to stay on top of CR for a long time with low effort (compared to the effort of other coaches with similar ranking who play more often maybe even ‘tougher’ formats such as Trophy or some minor tournaments...)

Is it a problem that does not let me sleep at night?
No... it is not

Is that an argument to show that FUMBBL ranking sucks or is that a joke? Absolutely not.

it's like a pebble in my shoe that bothers me when I see their ranking .
