As the system is, in terms of CR gain/loss, trying to go for the win is generally not advisable (unless you are almost sure to win).
For example, if you are clearly outnumbering the opponent team, you could try to go for the win.
If there is an uncertain scenario it's better to go for the tie.

CR points are used for rankings and rankings are a ladder. It's just another way to call it.
If you think that CR system is not right, ok, but it's the official FUMBBL way to evaluate coach's skill, not my subjective way. I'm fine with whatever system FUMBBL uses, as long as you can't pick the games, this is why I consider valid only the Box rankings.
Well, if you find sad playing a team older than 15 games, I find sad playing a Norse team without Apo, with 2 rrs, 2 Ulfs, 2 Valks, 8 Linemen, 2 Beer Boars and winning vs lower tiered teams unable to put up a decent match at TV 1000 due to default skill difference, not to mention the super boring cookiecutter rosters, all looking the same at such low TV.

If you compare CR to a ladder you are even more stupid that i thought you was.

Ladder pairs you with equals, fumbbl doesnt have enough players for that.

Then there will never be a ladder here on FUMBBL. The closest thing to evaluate coaches is CR, then.

Many would argue that tournaments won, but you can go with that as thats the only reason you live on and sadly dont even do that good with all that tryhard minmaxing

The reason is: I don't face often Legends and that makes earning CR points hard. Legends are more rare than in old system (because Mega-Star rank has been added).
Even if I tend to win or tie most of my games, I don't gain many CR points by facing Mega-Stars or lower.
Well, at least I'm higher ranked than you.

Statistically, you are more likely to find best coaches (and/or play more difficult matches) by playing the Trophy than by activating in Box with no TV/number of games limits or by doing only gamefinder.

So it is normal you do not find many top players if you activate only in your specific format. useless to complain if you decide to play in a very narrow-specific format only

If your aim is to meet best coaches often you should activate often more team below 15 games and/or apply Trophy, Minors, RRR whatever...

I'm not interested in playing teams with 15 games or fewer because the rosters and the matches are boring for my taste. I played too many games to have fun from such a low TV. If I create a new team I accept that as a necessary evil, but not as a perpetual dimension of play.
I want to face the best coaches by playing the teams I have and with Season Re-Draft implemented (or a TV cap set at 1500).

even with season redraft AFAIK there will be very likely a 15games cap protection for Trophy and or BOX teams. I think I read something in a Discord FUMBBL general chat.

Yes, it there will be the 15-game protection even with Season Re-Draft.
I didn't say it will solve my problem, I just explained how I would like to play.
It's better to struggle to find a game I like than find easily a game I don't like.

Yes its hard to farm a fun legend scoring machine in 15 games.

You actually have to play the game, shockingly hard that is, also boring.

Its so stupid trying to play on even fields.

Way more fun when you have better team.

Even at TV 1000, the fields are not even. A TV 1000 Norse team is way better than a TV 1000 Chaos team.
There is no need to farm a scoring machine, due to the skill mismatch.
For me, we can forbid the Legend players and cap the skill slots at 3 per player, by the way.
I can play without scoring machines, as long as anybody can't have them.

That statement is so stupid.

Many like me play 1mil chaos and do good.

You play only tier 1 teams and do mediocre.

Ive won rumbles with many silly teams and still strugle to win with say orcs or zons or UW.

Imo its learn to play issue more.

Btw i won RRR with chaos, easy.
