Here's a question for the usual debate that goes on around here.

My Renegade Skaven couldn't roll Iron Hard Skin as a random mutation think because (too lazy to look it up) he's already AV7. Figure the change to IHS regarding not modifying armour in any way is not just for Chorfs and will be a buff for all, then should IHS get added to the random rolls?

The skill, while still really, REALLY, low on my list of must take skills now has a use beyond being an anti-claw shield.

interesting... not linked to the bug but i am curious to know what could be the the utility of IHS on a player with AV7
(it's a serious question, I don't get it... not ironic eh... )

Your opponent can't get any modifiers to the AV roll? Like mighty blow (it could still impact injury) or dirty player?

But Iron Hard Skill text on user manual say "Claws cannot be used when making an Armour roll against this player". Does not say anything about dirty player. So if you foul a player with IHS you can use the +1 modified... Confused

The Dirty Player +1 modifier can't be used for the AV roll on an Iron Hard Skin player, but it can be used for the Injury roll.
Iron Hard Skin cancels the foul assists as well.

IHS got updated with the new Chaos Dwarf roster. It's very different now.

where is written officially? I do not find in the BB2020 official rulebooks and in the last Errata . Maybe has been amended with the last CD roster but in this case they should do a FAQ in November ?

The updated to IHS came with the revised Chaos Dwarf roster. Expect a formal update to the skill with the next errata or publication. Everyone appears to be assuming the skill is now updated for all.
