No idea. Perhaps I did. It was the first time I redrafted a team. Still getting used to the technicalities. |

You pay agent's fees for every player that comes back.
You can save cap space by firing no skill players and hiring rookies to replace them.
You might want to fire 1/2 skill players to concentrate on re-hiring your stars.
i.e. "min/max ruleset" |

looking at your results you should have been able to keep a higher TV assuming you had other players to keep...
Yeah. basically dont re-hire no skill players.
Even if you lost 15 games in a row (which you didn't) you'd only need to save 150k to hit cap... I can't work out how you have a TV lower than 1400?

I suggest to start firing all the Linemen with 0 skills from past Season (this will save you 20k each and will give you a more accurate idea of the budget you can spend), then check what positionals you want to keep or retire, then fill the roster up to 11 players or more.
If you really want to keep some developed players and you lack the gold, consider firing the Apo and/or dropping 1 rr to save 50-70k.

And it's a worse situation, compared to the past.
Minmax was a thing in past rulesets too, but you could move away from the tank shark low TV eventually, now every 15 games you are forced to go back to TV 1200 and face minmaxed Norse and Amazons teams (with freaks).  |

Thanks for all the hints. I probably did it wrong by keeping 0 skill linemen (not realizing they have a 20k agent fee) and had to let a positional go (no more money). Or maybe I did some other weird stuff I don't remember.
Anyway, I'll pay more attention next time... |
