That's actually my understanding, Razmus: you can't suddenly untrain, but you don't have to retain the same momentum/staff from season to season. I quite like this bit from both fluff and competitive perspectives. There's a lot about this ruleset I'd change, but there are good parts too. |

As a bonus, btw, have you ever noticed that your team had so many cool players to keep together, and was bringing in so much promising new talent, and somehow they made it all gel and got that dream squad to start the following season ... but somehow, the whole ended up being less than the sum of its parts?
I actually think this is pretty clever rules writing. |

Rookies demanding an extra 20k without new skills doesn't sound clever to me.
Amazons and Norse with freaks despite the Re-Draft (which is supposed to trim the freaks) doesn't sound clever to me.
Forcing everybody to play in the Norse and Amazon sweetspot after 15 games doesn't sound clever to me.
Making lots of races frustrating to play due to lack of core skills doesn't sound clever to me. |

wait, no, it works great as-is.
Until you hit the button to go to redraft, you are in-season. You may hire rerolls, but not fire them.
Once you hit the button, you are in redraft mode. You have no rerolls. You may re-hire your old rerolls,. |
ah ok! I did not remember well as i run the redraft of my teams all in once i think one week ago, so i did not remember this detail, i.e when you enter in redraft mode you cannot fire rr.
so it is perfectly fine, there is no bug. cool
