Is there any reason to keep a player during redraft that has 0 spp? It seems they are just always more expensive despite no advantages. Similarly there seems no upside to holding onto injuries for average players.

Am i missing something?

No, not really.

Perhaps u are feeling emotional related to a player, but from a competetive view, there is now reason to keep him

Thank you - suddenly many don't make the cut.
Interesting progression then, feels like linos with starting skills become more valuable
Edit: Or positionals

I didn't think of it before now but it is odd that the tiers in the rulebook don't actually amount to anything mechanically. They're just an indicator of how hard a team may be to play. Redraft seems like the easiest place to have a mechanical impact, kind of surprised they didn't take that opportunity.

You mean tiers should somehow trigger a mechanism during the re-draft that tries to balance the teams a bit more?

Sounds like a good plan. So you could have different tiers to allow a more easy entry to the game, while at a later point / during re-draft teams get balanced.

I like the idea and must admit I also never thought about that topic.

Do you mean- why don't they use redraft as a time to rebalance the rosters, so that worse rosters get some kind of benefit, to make them more balanced?

But the rosters aren't intended to be balanced...
