As I only have a PC from work, I'm not able to download Java on it. I have uploaded openwebstart for Windows.
Then, I could launch Fumbbl, and try to spectate a game.
But I have to wait 45 mins (!) for "the "loading icons" to complete. Then, once 100% done, the 45 mins of the game I've missed are played in a super fast mode, like in 5 mins, moving everywhere superquick Surprised
After the delay is recovered, I could watch the end of the game normally.
I've tried to play a game, my opponent had to wait 45 misn for my "loading icons" to complete, then we have been able to play normally.
If anyone has an idea how to improve this...
Many thanks !

Get you hands on an old cheap laptop, I've one a friend gave me, it's obsolete but FUMBBL has pretty low requirements.

There is an option to enable the icon cache, if you just want to improve the situation. It still won't be ideal if you play in any of the leagues which use custom icons or secret league where you're likely to face a hundred different rosters.

Don't use work laptops for games. Syadmins see everything you do on the corporate laptop, even if you don't think they do. Buy a second-hand ThinkPad and install Linux on it if this is all you do with it anyway.

The primary reason you shouldn't be playing games on work laptops isn't really that the IT team can see what you do, but that you're probably not supposed to install non-work applications for security reasons.

As a general rule, work laptops aren't officially supported by FUMBBL. Not because you're not supposed to use them (that's your call, and you do what you want to do in that respect), but because a lot of corporate laptops have all sorts of protection and filtering software installed. This very often causes problems with communication to the site, and I'm not comfortable helping people circumvent these filter and protection applications for obvious reasons.

45 minutes to load icons is almost guaranteed to be caused by some kind of aggressive filtering software on the machine (or malware, but let's hope that's not it).
