boohoo... the player who comes rostered with blodge and leap, moves 8, and dodges on a 2+ can't also be the best passer at rookie level... |

With PA 3+ a Wardancer would not be the best passer at rookie level. If Orcs have PA 4+, every Elf should have PA 3+, at least. It's a bug of the ruleset, using a D6 to work out passes, when another mechanic could be used.
Leap has been nerfed, by the way, and nerfed too much.
It could have been an unmodified 4+ with AG 2+, instead of the old 3+. |

Just make high elf and wood elf throwes pro elf thrower price.
I for one hated elf catchers and gutters being better passers than throwers before.
Luv.

I share MerryZ feeling there. I like the idea that there are dedicated throwers, that can really throw a ball... and others that cannot (that well).
And I also think that you need some leaver to differentiate the rosters. Giving a human AG2 to allow him a 2+ pick up, instead of a 3+ means an Elf would either do the ball handling only as good as a human or he gets AG1+ which will only be beneficiarry during rain or in TZs because a natural 1 is always a fail.
So not that easy.
But overall I share the thought that ball handling and especially passing should be un-nerfed a bit. |

Has there ever been a BB version with "pass" dice?
It would be great if there was a skill that gave a 2D throw, like a 2D block.
Obviously you still need to catch the pass but... |
