I've just pushed out a minor update to the team creation process. Specifically, the division selection page, which now simply shows you the current divisions in a grid rather than having you select from a dropdown.
The new layout reduces the number of clicks and also removes the existence of a default division.
As you can see, though, the division icons are somewhat of a placeholder nature and I'm looking for someone who might be willing to draw a set of divisional icons for me to use. As always, they must be original art and you must be willing to give me (and FUMBBL) license to use the logos for any purpose (including for use on merchandise). If you're interested in this, please get in touch with me and we can have a chat. |

Nice!
The blackbox vs ranked descriptions might still be a bit biased/off though. |

Yeah I don't think the Box description needs to be quite so negative. |

I was going to say it was too polite.
You are welcome to use the Stunty Leeg logo, though it would work better as a top bar than a side image due to the landscape format. |

Just give the pros and cons of each division, throw in link to the 145 club in the league description and let new people make their own decisions. |

I wouldn't say Box is a bad place to start, and neither would I say the opposite of Ranked! The 145 Club is the only place I'd (currently) recommend to new coaches.
Maybe I could come up with alternative texts tomorrow... Just as an offer.
Edit:
Besides that, I very much like it! Plain and simple. |

Blackbox
A highly competitive division where opponents are automatically matched every 15 minutes. Whilst the scheduler will take into account the age of a team when assigning match ups, the nature of not knowing your opponent leads to a tough, challenging environment.

Nice job.
For the Ranked one if we could just lose the last line about it being a good starting place for new coaches it'd be better. There are predators in both B & R. |

Force every admin to make their own version of an icon for each division and have the page randomly select each one with a "By: etcAdmin" under it.
That'll make it feel all the more personal! and prove that half of us arent so gud drawrerers |

Could [L] have as part of this description: "This is also the place to play one-offs with your friend!" as that is a use case that occurs frequently, understand? |

Since the division rules are so readily accessible with it and new coaches will probably bother to read them, there probably should be a link on that page somewhere to the rules that apply to all divisions... either on that page or on the respective info pages for the respective divisions...
Otherwise people will think they know all the rules when tehy really only know the division rules.. |
