Time to setup the Season 20 thread.
The Black Cup is coming, how many human coaches will show up?
First three Premiership positions:
1. Sons of Brutus - 20 points (2/3/6)
2. BBC Freilos - 13 points (1/2/5)
3. Thumbing my way - 6 points (1/0/2)
First three Conference positions:
1. BBC Freilos - 32 points (4/4/8 )
2. Sons of Brutus - 24 points (4/3/2)

The Sons of Brutus are looking a bit weird as human teams go - too many leafy salads and not enough red meat I suspect.
We will be celebrating game 650 at the Black Cup. The recovery and rebuild are pencilled in for game 651! |

game scheduled for monday 13:30 server time.
the WMD's are loaded at the moment. 6 clpombers and a few more mb/claw.
inducement time!
i get 230k which gives me a number of options
1. wizard and merc
2. wizard and babe
3. babe and 2 mercs
4. bribe and dp merc
5. bribe, babe, merc
6. some other combo
i know what i am leaning towards but would like some other opinions. what say you?
Dunenzed you entered your elves instead? you managed to get a tough 1st round draw too, against a good coach playing undead. keep us informed of kick off! |

Option 4 has a certain statement of intent that appeals - but it's hard to go past the wizard when you've got some Ag4 to clean up afterwards. |

I think OenarLod said the Vault Tec Squad was on at 22:00 Saturday night. |

Here is my 2 cents.
Facing a team like that IMO you should take 2 babes and a apoth.
why?
The 2 babes make KO results in the first half almost pointless against you. Even if he performs a 8 turn stall and you have 7 guys in the KO box you have 2 shots at a 2+ to get each of them back, that is golden.
make him CAS you off the pitch.
Also you got to take chances. 1die blocks to free up more blocks from your team. Taking those foul shots with only 1 assist and so forth. You have a 4+ dodge at the ball carrier, you take it.
Now this replay is not apples for apples on what you are facing but check it out and you will see what I mean.

i was thinking pretty similar to you painstate. option 5 has been my favourite, as i get an extra player, and a babe. seems better than 2 babes? the bribe should work just as well as an extra apo, because lets face it, i am going to want to foul these gits.
very hard to say no to a wizard though. maybe bill will add 150k to the kitty for me. |

winnnnnnerrrr! went for option 5, which worked a treat. had 11 v 9 for the second half, after causing 2 ko's and a cas with fouling. quick 4 turn score followed by a blitz with a short kick off, and the game was mine.

thanks cdassak. felt like i had to go for the win while i still had a full squad (and the 4 chaos ko's). thankfully it paid off. |
