Hi there,
I've created some 2nd Edition style BB helmet logo blanks I'd like to share with the community.
There are nine or so now - more will follow when time permits.
ATM they're uploaded to one of my gallery folders - how easy is it to make them available to all?

Ooooooooooooh nice, very nice.
A guy did some really nice helmets for us a few years back (see Kam's logos). However they're not easy to work with.
If you check akarenton's picture site, I uploaded a lot there. It might be nice to have them there as well, if you don't mind. |

Making a forum thread in General Chat displaying the templates (use the IMG tag) might be a good idea.
Nice work. Classic stuff these helmets. |

I can do that, as I have admin rights there. So as long as the OP is happy, I can add them to the right area, as I've already put some helmets up there. So once he's done some marvelous dorfs and green skins, we can do that. |

@harvestmouse would it be possible to upload the blanks to the library straight from my personal gallery?
It's just that they're approximately doubled up in scale so designers can add greater detail at 72dpi then resize them to the recommended format for profile pages and the client pitch.
Not sure how forum admin would feel about such an image heavy thread in General Chat.
I'll show you what I mean:
Elf blank 72dpi 696x696 pixels
'Harlequin of the South' team logo 72dpi 348x318 pixels
DElf blank 72dpi 696x696 pixels
'Blackspine Stealers' team logo 72dpi 348x348 pixels
CHAOS blank 72dpi 696x696 pixels
'Atlético Stiletto' team logo 72dpi 348x348 pixels
All files are FUMBBL friendly PNGs - so no unwanted white surrounds and should hopefully play nice with Gimp, Photoshop and (possibly?) Microsoft Paint.

OH wow they are awesome! Would you like to make one for my human team and actual HLP contenders? American Gladiators I promise to donate a 5$ to the fumbbl community for such job!
I'd choose the bottom left helmet (spiked mouth guard with rounded helmet spikes). I'd use my team logo on the flank of the helmet, font color a dirty (grey-ish) white. Mouth guard color red and the rounded spikes and helmet trim as blue!

I can take them straight from your gallery Thom. I will handle it this weekend time permitting and put the link up here.
I have.............an idea with these, something I might experiment with after Christmas when I'm not going to be working and have time.
That harlequin logo is pure beauty! |
