Ok, now is the time! There are 13 qualifiers - we shall have a contest for predictions!
EITHER pick one qualifier, and predict all the matches in that qualifier, getting 3 points for each that is correct, or 1 point for each that is not correct. You get 1 points for picking a game that has already been played.
OR predict the winner of all 13 qualifiers, getting 2 points for each that is correct, and 0.5 points for each that is not correct!
Bring out your guns!
Get bonus points if I like your write up!
Lose points if you pick orcs to win! |

Qualifier 1: The Goblins win. Every other team is boring!
Qualifier 2: Sadly the Dorfs. It is going to be a bloody affair and inducements only make up so much. Poor humies...
Qualifier 3: The Goblins. The orcs will take out the cheating, tackley Chorfs and the Gobbos are big enough to stomp snots and dodgy enough to score past orcs.
Qualifier 4: The necros. Skip the first match and tear through the rest.
Qualifier 5: Nurgle. Because Nurgle are stupid and terrible, so it would be funny. (also tentacles vs rats is ugly)
Qualifier 6: In a crazy twist, NOT the adorable flings, but the only previous winner to make it past the qualifiers this round. Black Orcs kill the Pro Elves and grind past the rest.
Qualifier 7: Goblins. sheesh, there isn't even any competition here for them......
Qualifier 8: Goblins (this should be obvious at this point)
Qualifier 9: Weirdly, and for no good reason the High Elves, but terribly beat up....
Qualifier 10: Snots
Qualifier 11: Hobgoblins!!!! Hopefully with regular Squirrel appearances.
Qualifier 12: Lizardmen. Goes into overtime, though.
Qualifier 13: Gobbos shockingly fall in the first draw to High Elves who go on to the win (what is going on this tournament?)

I agree with Macavity. I've come out of retirement to play a major with rookie gobbos and i'm not seeing any way I don't win the whole thing tbh. |

Q1 - Leaning towards a epic orc clash between the coaches we love to love. Malmir will take it down due to having some tournament experience. Malmirs ORCS!
Q2 - My humans will... no just kidding. Kinks has a nice looking CD team that can take out the FC champs. Kinks Chaos Dwarf!
Q3 - Nasty looking Jokaero snots, but mighty blowing CD will prevail. Thoriins Chaos Dwarf!
Q4 - Interesting group with some flavour, all skeleton team? famous humans. No this will be Ohwatch's worlds fastest Amazons!
Q5 - tough one to pick. Lots of close games coming up. In the end? Mmeiers Undead!
Q6 - Epic game coming up between Dorf and Blorc, the remainders of the winner probably faces strong lizards in the final. Close between all three, but Lizards has easier draw so I go with YuriSloeries Lizards!
Q7 - Kinda weak qualifier, at least teamwise. Even Elyod can't make elves survive vs heavy Chaos. Gobbos vs Chaos in the final, so obviously Klunkers Chaos!
Q8 - Easy one, Asteflix will make Khorne great agai.. for once.
Q9 - Rooting for humans, but looks like the undeads are battling it out. The fastest ghoul will win, so Ignaz's Undead!
Q10 - 16 man Orcs team? They probably have a shot, but in the end rookie Morglings prevail. Because of Storr. Storr's Morglings!
Q11 - Lizard vs champion CDs in the final. Bomber will win it in the end. Astrolonim's CD!
Q12 - Rooting for humans, but humans don't like the strong Lizards. Joost's Lizards!
Q13 - Possibly the only chance for an elf team to make it so I have to gamble here. Also the only current tackler in the possibly semifinal is out so Rawlfs Woodies! |

Q1: I really REALLY want to see Khemri win this one but I have to say, Malmir's orcs are looking extremely strong. Orc Massif are my pick.
Q2: the most recent champs are looking a little banged-up, but so is the dwarf squad they have to face in round 1. I think the orc domination will continue and Nelphine's orcs will win this qualifier.
Q3: both Bashto and Jokaero made deep runs in the FC, and both Mrt1212 and Thoriin have excellent teams. I think this bracket, though, will go to Jokaero's morglings.
Q4: RickWreckless had a helluva time getting to the second round, but I think his chorfs have what it takes to make it all the way: Self Cas for Q4.
Q5: a very interesting qualifier! PC is playing black orcs??? someone brought Nurgle (neilwat)?? What is this madness! The coolest team in this qualifier will win it, so it goes to Bone's Khemri.
Q6: thanks to spelledaren, PeteW's black orcs are missing their ball carrier for next match. Though they will have to fight through some tough coaches to get there, I'm calling this bracket for none other than my very own dwarves, Tusslin'!.
Q7: I think this one comes down to mekutata's goblins v. Elyod's elves (who slip past Klunker's stacked chaos on fireball fumes and chutzpa), and in that matchup I'm going with Der Green Clockwork Klub!
Q8: with a first round bye and a wicked good ball carrier, this qualifier will end up in a battle between DonShula's Hell Pit Lightning and Ma Milk. In the end Frenzy is the best skill and asteflix will win Q8!
Q9: lewdgrip made a deep run in the FC, and his Gravediggers are in fine shape. However, I think MerryZ's humans will call on the power of Castle Greyskull and win this qualifier.
Q10: this one will likely come down to a battle between Storr's morglings and Bram's Imperials. Unfortunately for humanity, in that matchup I have to give the nod to the swarming hordes of Storr's How Is This Still a Bolita.
Q11: it will be a real slog to get past the hobgobs of Macavity and Astrolonim's chorfs, but The_Murker will do just that, and take his underworld, Gutter Runners n' Junk to the next round.
Q12: Kickass HiFi is one of my favorite teams in C, but they have some real bruisers in their qualifier, Joost's Xlanhuapec Smashmouth chief among them. However, I think spinball's Gnoblar's ogre easy channel happygrue and move on to the next round.
Q13: the Elf bracket! With so many elves representing, one is bound to win out, and Rawlf's Brush-wood Fusiliers look the strongest of them. |
