Ooh, a Blood Bowl Relay game! You have one player waiting off the pitch just outside the end zone. You have to get the ball into the end zone and get your TD, but instead of re-setting, you make a handoff to the waiting player, who has to move it the length of the pitch to score again! The scoring player meanwhile is removed from the match and put just behind the far side end zone. |

In Olympic games there is a kind of race where a runner (relay) receives the baton from another runner then runs with it.
I guess he was referring to that, but I could be wrong. |
