OK I understand not everyone here has chat. But come on if you get an in game message about a game we can see if it has been read or not.

Does it really hurt to type a quick response like no thankyou?

Annoys me so much.

In fairness, I am so famously bad at this game that the second I log onto the site (even if it's just on my phone to have a browse because I'm such a loser) I get about 1000 messages from people wanting me to give them a free win. If I were to reply to every single one then I would have even less time to actually play than I do now. I don't mean to be rude.

Stanley, I think you are referring to PMs. Those you can see whether they have been read or not. In game chat, I have no idea if my opponent can read it or not.
