Glorious Ressurection or just Walking Corpes - The unreckoned comeback of the "Rising-Stars"
It really looked a long time like the "Alandorn Rising-Stars" had really retired. But, as the "Alandorn Prophet" exclusively reports, the whole team has been seen on the training pitch outskirts of the city.
"As long as they don´t set a foot in our beloved city, I don´t care about the "S****y-Stars", said an old woman (76) who lives in Alandorn. (editor´s note: replace the stars with "hitt":)
Quite understandable, were the players of Alandorn dissapointing their local fans match by match. No one would like a team not able to win a single match out of 20, espacially citizens of a highly-prestiged city like Alandorn (the capital of Kingdom Avalonia).
"The Rising-Stars are the flagships of our city. Because everyone in this world LOVES Blood Bowl and the cities are often ranked due to their teams playing Blood Bowl." told us King Uther in his castle. "When the Rising-Stars don´t stop losing their matches, the reputation of our whole city or even ehole Avalonia would suffer. The Rising-Stars have to win at least 1 of the 5 next upcoming matches, or else I have to exile them."
After the conversation with King Uther we from "Alandorn Prophet" were able to interview the coach of the Rising-Stars confronting him with his ultimatum given by the King.
"Of course I don´t lose intentionally, elsewhise coach would be the wrong job for me. But we have to analyse what we did wrong in the last 20 matches, because we all WANT to win."
We also asked him if he ever thought about retirement.
"NEVER!!! Okay, we were on vacation, stomaching our negative streak.....it is not easy to live with these breakdowns in your head. But after vacation our players are as motivated as before our first match. With the difference that we earned a lot of skills and experience since that day. And aftwer vacation we practised a lot, of course. We must prepare for the next match. And I want us to win it. This is MY team. I founded it. There´s to much passion, too many moments we shared to give up this stuff."
We from "Alandorn Prpohet" hope that the coach´s decision to continue wasn´t the wrong decision. We all want to have a great Blood Bowl team. But the coach has to show results or he and his team has to find a new home....

Fun blogg. The team is a bit of a shambles though :)
But keep at it and remember that skills like guard and mighty blow win games, tackle wouldn't hurt either.
Try and play vs some "softer" teams for a while, like skaven and woodies with the same ts as you. Because your team is not equiped to face the bashers yet.

Better yet, restart a new team with the same name in Rdiv or i Fbb and you will be able to get better and more even games.

Cuz there´s no one anymore....maybe I should transfer to "League" class and then find a "softer team"

I tried to challenge a Skaven Team, but these m******ucking
rats didn´t want to die.....they zoomed through my defense like a hot knife through butter xD
Bad luck and maybe bad defense....but better luck next time=)

just a hint: read in the help section / tactics & strategy about human team development. Pass Block and Pro are fun, but among the worst skills in lrb4 (at leat to take in the beginning)
Your linos and catchers need block as first skill to protect them. (maybe 1 lino kick, 1 lino dirty player) your blitzer need guard, mighty blow or tackle. blitzers only get pro after mighty blow guard tackle (and sometimes even shadowing) as 4th or 5th skill - some coaches even retire them at that point.
for catcher, block, sidestep diving tackle is a common skilling
its nice to try some other skills, but first bring in some wins for the poor coach before playing with exotic skill choices
