Final Curtain?
So, two fairly damaging games in a row has seen the slayers down 4 players and in pretty bad shape.

The question is, are they still recoverable (or worth it, now the only stand out players are the 2 catchers). The last game paid well, so I could afford another thrower and lineman, but it would still leave me massively understrength, and I may just be better starting afresh even with the FF16.

So the question for you blog readers, is what now?

FF16 is pretty good for a team in that TR range... Maybe consider ditching a reroll and picking up two lineman, but I would say completely recoverable.

These guys arent beyond recovery yet imo.

Get two extra linos (you dont need a 2nd thrower yet so save the 10k for next purchases) and play a few games and see how it goes.

Also you can easily drop one or even two rerolls to lower your tr and thus easen the match-up for your guys.

Your FF16 is good for rebuilding the team, so give it a go.

Don't give up yet. Get to 10 players and find a bash-lite opponent. Possibly after ditching a RR.

Ah, I see the others are thinking the same.

Heck, for kicks I trimmed a wood elf team down to 6 players and played them that way. You're always a hair's-breadth from being wiped off the pitch, but it's fun and it's great practice for having the snot bashed out of you in the second half of full-team games.

With FF16, you can recover just fine. Stick to fair TR/TS matchups and think twice about teams with Tackle/MB players (one or the other is fine though). You'll be able to get games pretty easily, and the money should flood in.

I say you retire them, and restart the slayers in Blackbox.

BTW, when you rebuild them: more Dodge. You're not going to keep pro elves alive if they're constantly getting knocked over and failing dodges just for rolling one 1. ;)

Don't believe in yourself. Believe in me! Believe in me, who believes in you!

Oh easy to recover. Elfs are just like that when they have a bad couple of games.
