Cursed. Cursed I tell ya!
I took a break from my chaos experiment yesterday due to being talked into creating a ladder-team and joining the Svenska Bondeligan.

"Right!" I said. "I'll play rotters, since they are a little bit similar to chaos, but still different."

The team was created and admitted to the league and all was well. Or so I thought. When asking for games I was told that bashy teams wasn't the way to go in said league.

A little miffed, but really wanting to play I went back to basics and created a dark elf team, since that's been my favorite since, well, ever..up until i found glorious chaos!

Nuffle, being the ***** he is, apparently thinks I shouldn't play delves. Ever.
My first team here has been plagued with injuries and deaths (read the bio if you feel like it..it's sad reading for sure), and this new team was (yes, I say 'was' because it's retired now) no exception:

Game one, a player killed..but "no worries" I thought. I got enough money off the game to buy a replacement.

Game two on the other hand..*sigh*.. my poor elves suffered four (4!) SI's and it was off to the retirement home for them.

So what to do now then? I really want to play in the Swedish Bondeliga, so I guess I need a new team.

The answer is simple..create another dark elf team and try to beat the odds of course. :)

Will I be able to do it? Or should I play something else next time?

Please post your comments, advice, predictions etc..because it might well be the only dark elf related fun I'll have here on fumbbl. ;)

Cheers!

I would say, keep that Dark Elf Idea and try and try. I have the same Problem, two of three DE Teams got beaten the hell out of theyre asses for the first few games. But the third, oh boy...they made it. :)

Stick it out with the Dark Elves.
Maybe start with an apoth and fewer positionals.
Don't get sucked into a bashing game.
Don't be afraid to dodge, and don't necessarily follow up blocks.
I'd give some guys block first skill, others dodge.
Hope that helps.

When it comes to De, you rarely need 11 players to win. They are a tough side to coach, and a game or two of awful CAS against can ruin any league. But when they work, well, it's just beautiful :D

DE need lots of FF, so keep playing them, kick injuries out to earn more money and buy new players.

Why would you want to play in a league that don't like playing against bashy teams? Sounds like a bunch of sissies.
