NAF leagues?
so i have few questions about NAF leagues on fummbl. one, how functional is it? i only ask because one of my opponents about a month ago told me that he thought the NAF implementation wasn't working right yet. and two, are there any NAF leagues currently needing coaches?

I'm not sure there are NAF sanctioned leagues online. There are NAF Tourneys on here. The NAF has a free OBBLM system that helps out leagues, but I don't see why they would have it on here. Can you link the league? Being a NAF Tourney Rep I'd be surprised to hear about it.

i'm sorry, i was asking about NAF style, not sanctioned leagues... and i really don't know anything, that's why i'm asking.

Do you mean Tourneys? The NAF is a pridominatly a Tourney site, although in recent years they have collected league information. There are no league rules that the NAF controls.
So assuming you mean the Tourneys, I have played in several. I think they work fine, but do have to conform to the sites capabilities. So some Table Top Tourneys have rules (teiring systems)that can't be changed without manual inputs. That is too much work at times. But overall I have had a great time playing in the NAF sanctioned Tourneys.

A Swiss style Tourney resembles a League on a lot of ways. I think that is what you are confused about. I hope that helps.

Keggie has all of the facts here. To join the upcoming online NAF tournament (not league) see the news on the front page.

I believe he means resurrection/non-progression style. The facts are:

*There are NAF resurrection tournaments on this site, they are working fine.

What isn't live yet is for site members to make their own resurrection style tournaments.

However League does have a resurrection format, which anybody can use. However it's for rookie non-progression teams.

You can create a league and add your own ruleset to get preset skills. You then need to configure your league to use that ruleset.
Only thing that does not work yet is open round robin as skills can vary depending on rounds played.
Here the initial blog from Christer. There is also a thread in the forum.

I note you've (blog maker) made a team for the Spike! but have not applied it to a group yet. For how to do that, see front page links.

Ahhhhhhhh I didn't think about the new custom league options. So what I posted was incorrect? If somebody could let me know, so I know for the future that'd be great.
