Amazing skill rolls!
My Dark Elf team Winter’s Night played two games today. The first was a rookie smack which saw them totally devastated with two players getting –ma and –av and one m. Loosing that match I was contemplating retiring the team as I only had seven good players left (I was forced to fire a m elf to get in the 100 tr smack) but learning form my Norse coach friend who I played my first match with I decided not to give up so easily. I manage to find a undead coach who was willing to play and only had nine players fielded. Although I loosed that game, I did manage to skill up 3 of my linemen and the rolls was pretty darn good!

+st on first lineman
+ma on second lineman
+ma on third lineman

Anyone care to share some stories of other really good rolls when skilling up multiple players at once?

Don't take + MA on DE linemen, they have plenty of normal skills far better.

Those are some dirty elves. Two of the three normal skills are DP!

Still, congrats on the skill ups; very nice.

Already too late, but with the +ma the team will undoubtedly be more flexible (well hopefully). And if a couple of more +ma comes the teams way they are suddenly woodelfs with higher armor value, which is pretty neat =).

Also- why retire a lineelf who's just missing the next game?

Same goes for the -ma / -agi injuries. No need to retire those when you don't have the luxury of fielding 11 players for your next game. Get rid of them once you have >11 players.

I had to retire the M elf because my TR was over 100 when I entered the smack, I didn't have time to make a new team since I was the last player they needed. The two other I retired mostly because of frustration after my team got crushed, but also because I didn't want them to hog any MVP point in the future. And it's all about the points....which will of course be of no good if my team gets killed because of man shortage. =|

+st was nice.

I would not have taken any of the +ma. Block or dodge would have made them way more useful.

My favourite skill roll story is an orc lino I have - he rolled +AG for 3 of his 4 skills. Obviously could only take it twice though which is a shame - i'd love an AG6 line orc!
