I feel like I'm actually growing to like these stinky little creatures. We just managed to draw two games in a row against more experienced coaches than myself. My little critters work their magic without me doing much, I like it. And they sure can take a beating. It's pretty ugly to see a rat get beaten to a pulp by an Ogre, but they don't seem to mind. I suspect that they are just trying to impress that ugly-as-hell cheerleader, so I hired another one. She is even uglier. At first I thought she was some kind of chaos spawn, but the tail and the horrible breath gave her away. And the guys love her. So easy to please.
Nevertheless, we need to win more, so I hired two assistant coaches: one to help me with the general strategies, the other...well, mainly as a translator. He is a Skaven, too, but he speaks pretty well. It's extremely weird looking to see a rat speak my language, but as I can't really speak theirs (do you have any idea how many different meanings 'squeak' has?), I will just try to bear with it.
I'm still pissed that we didn't make it to the Fumbbl Cup, but time didn't permit. Maybe next year
