Is it wrong?
... To turn down a match based on the fact the team is full of Mighty Blow and Dirty Players (90% of the team had one or the other) - and has 300 points over my TR?

Just seems a bit wrong that anyone would pick on a "new" coach like that - if i didn't know the skills and played him i would be retiring that team almost certainly :(

Hope no-one gets put off from those sort of players...

It wouldnt have counted anyway, you can only play a team within a certain ts of yours, I think it is 40. Unless you are talking about the new client

Not wrong at all, it's quite normal actually. Sometimes there are offer like this, because you get everything in term of players here.

It was the new client - so I (think!) I should have said Team Value

One of these days i'll get it right first time! :P

(and on that day, i'll become a good coach!) ;)

It might have been fun if all the inducements were available just to load up with a wizard and a heap of stars.

Depends on what team you were. But the FBB division is a place in which you can choose your games so don't feel bad if you don't feel like taking a challenge like that. Personally i'd have been embarrassed to offer a game that unfair. I probably would have accepted, hired a chainsaw and another mean star and gone hunting, i bet your opponent would have been far more upset at losing his players than you would have been.

Actually, thats not such a bad idea! - If i were lucky, making him cry salty tears as i lopped of a few of his stars heads would have been rather... ironic! (and very nuffle-esq!)

Maybe next time :D

Yup, next time just accept, foul his team to bits as much as you can, and giggle like a little girl as he wins 4-0 but has his pixels wrecked :)

Play whoever you want whenever you want and don't care what anybody else says. This is YOUR leisure time you are using to play here not theirs.

That said it can be alot of fun to take on all comers and accept all matches offered to you... but I would wait until I thought I knew what I was doing as a coach if I was you.

define "wrong"
Posted by adambomb on 2010-08-17 08:41:00
not wrong - you are allowed to choose your opponents in Ranked

It's very wrong to reject a match against mb and dirty players. Don't do it again.
