Recently i was playing a game and was short on time. I had to get ready for work and the game had taken longer than i had expected. I attempted to remedy this by asking my opponent if we could skip turn till the end of the second half.

I then received a call saying that a very dear freind of mine had been in a car incident. This was the kicker, i told him i needed to go and restarted. I had to call into work and i was at the hospital with my friend for a few hours.

First off, i would like to sincerley apologise to my opponent Mesala, and i would like to ask a question to you all, was i right in doing this? In my opinion, emergencies are a perfectly legitimate reason for disconnecting like that.

I do plan to finish the game as soon as possible, else i am perfectly fine with calling it a forfiet.

So, please rate at 1 if i should have finished my game, and 5 for i was right to leave so abruptly.
